A follow up, or at least a spiritual successor would be interesting.
Of course I remember the game that never ends, or at least felt like it. It was a cool game and a sequel wouldn't necessarily be unwelcome, but man did that drag on and on after awhile.
I've never completed it; I got out of Lea Monde and into some woods and then my attention drifted to other games.
I know one game that I want to stop having sequels.
Spoiler:
It's Call of Duty.
I am sick and tired of
A) Being told how many prestiges someone has over and over again
B) People bragging about their "skills" and how they managed to quickscope their best friend.
C) I'm just sick about how prejudice the game is. For example, in Black Ops, shooting down loads of Cubans for no apparent reason besides from the Cuban Missile hoax and the fact they're socialist. This also goes for the fact the the enemy almost always seems to be either communist or differ in some other way to you.
I understand loads of people will disagree with me on this, but I just wish they would let the game die.

Speaking of Too Human, I'm gonna throw out Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. As the fans say, Silicon Knights would have made it, but they had a deep fear of success and money, so they made Too Human instead.
Seriously, that game was amazing (Eternal Darkness). It had all kinds of creepy sanity effects, and amazing atmosphere. The game itself was pretty easy, but I still always hesitate to go back to it just because of the random gak that happens to you when you lose sanity.
Other games I'd like to see a sequel to:
Kingdom Hearts II - seriously, the game was fantastic, and then Square Enix immediately went and made four spin-off titles rather than continue the story of Sora. And two of 'em aren't all that good.
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy - the game was awesome, and ended on a freaking cliffhanger. Then it sat for years without a sequel until Midway went out of business. Argh!
A proper sequel/follow up to Gauntlet: Dark Legacy - the one game that came after it was apparently nothing like the previous games, and got piss-poor reviews. I spent countless hours playing Gauntlet: Dark Legacy with my friends when I was a young'un, and would happily pay $60 for a new sequel...but once again, Midway went out of business.
My Armies:
Kal'reia Sept Tau - Farsight Sympathizers Da Great Looted Waaagh! The Court of the Wolf Lords
Oooh, Chromehounds would be nice... in a game better than Chromehounds. I liked the way they had the multi-player set up. Hated the douches who just loaded up on the melee weapons or the heavies to get easy base kills.
Dungeon Keeper
HeXeN
Chromehounds
Too Human
Lost Vikings
F-Zero X
Redneck Rampage
I would add Duke Nukem to the list but with the crap pile that was released i cant stand to see the franchise go farther into the impact crater it made at the bottom of the hill.
For me: Oddworld Stranger, its the one game i ALWAYS bring up.
Another Jedi Knight game Would be great, but more along the lines of Jedi Outcast than Jedi Academy.
Retro: Bioforge.
Captive.
Discussion: The story of New Austin and the Death of the old west is Done i'll agree there but RDD was also a fun game without the story. A sequel would just need a refinetment to the shooting (also no more wasting like 100 guys per mission) and maybe a little more depth to some of the distractions.
Why do you need to know more about Nerevar? His arc was wrapped up in Mournhold. An TES game that capitilised on the great fluff like Morrowind did would be ace though. In my mind TES (since oblivion) is the opposite of Mass effect. TES: Great universe/background rubbish story telling and crappy characters/dialogue (since oblivion anyway). Mass effect Crappy universe/background great storytelling and characters/dialogue.
People who love republic commando haven't played Rainbow Six 3. Plus whatever you say an all in one gun (that has separate ammo = game design ) is NOT a good mechanic.

I want Chrome Hounds Too.
I loved that game. Customizing the mechs where awesome.
Dungeon Keeper, I LOVE this game, and theming maps around various events would be awesome fun.
Star Wars Dark Forces - Bring out a non-jedi shooter again, and re-amp up the puzzle factor. I LOVED Dark Forces because a lot of it was puzzle based rather than shoot shoot shoot rinse and repeat.

I'm sick and tired of having to listen to people trying to explain to you why CoD has a better story and multiplayer than Halo or any other game....
Not to mention the fact that they think it's more realistic and has a better multiplayer than BF3.
Wtf?
I'm not sure I need to say anything here, other than once again like EA and Road rash. What in the nine hells is Lucasarts playing at. Make this game, money I have it, I want to give it to you!!

Yeah, CoD seems really repetitive now. Go to some country, shoot down a bunch of Russians, or Germans, or whatever and play online. Pretty much gave rise to the "CoD Kid" who always seem to play online, use weird slang and seem to come up with rather odd insults. One of the worst I've heard is Russian. Sorry, how does Russia mean bad.
Also, most realistic game = Rainbow Six

It was interesting and I liked it, but never could get too interested in it. Wouldn't mind picking it up again and playing it now.
Square recently hinted that the world Vagrant Story is set in is the world of Ivalice, which is the setting for Final Fantasy Tactics and FFXII.
