I think the point was missed at some point in this thread. I don't know where it went there for a second. But i like it. The whole idea that girls mature faster just means when a girl sleep with her teacher she knows what she is doing and should be held countable for her actions. While boys don't know any better, so should get a high five and a slice of pie. I mean actual pie not just what he already got from the teacher. And yes if it was a gay male teacher doing this to male children, there would be a huge issue. its a social thing.

No, it's not.

Truth is a flexible concept. However, in this instance its been forgotten that maturity is also tied to events and experience.

A child who's lived a hard life or been given responsibilities is much more mature than someone who hasn't.

You are kinda ruining me being able to do what ever i want just because i am a male. But agreed. The real question is, if a child is raised in such a way that he grows up maturer than his time, is it alright for him to sleep with his teacher if he knows the what he is doing and what will happen when he does it?

Legally speaking, no, as the law does not have such exceptions because it's impossible for the law to really judge maturity like that.

But I think its not as much a double standard as people think there is. If it gets found out its still prosecutable, I doupt the DA will deny charges because the boy is lucky.

I actually just had to google lisa kudrow to see what you guys where talking about. If she didn't talk, i would nail her. She just seems like the type of person that if she started talking i would just want to beat to head against the wall. I might be wrong on this one.
