Can we get a rehost? Im getting a work block on CMoN site and the crystal brush site.
I was at Adepticon and there were some beautiful models in there.
I really liked the 54mm Luke Skywalker and the 54mm Chaos Warrior/Knight on horse.
I'm guessing Gea was the wood elfy floating female.
I loved the light effects on "Any Problem?" but didn't recognized the figures.
If "Steam Dreams" was the Alice looking one with a mirror and cards in the base, I liked the dynamic effect that it had, and the detail it had.

Take this with the obligatory dump-truck of salt, but one of the Flames of War guys I spoke to on Saturday mentioned in passing that he had independent confirmation that Pancake edition was essentially a preview of the real thing coming in the 6th edition 40k rulebook. "Fantasy rules are the future of 40k," I believe he said.
Or he may have simply been blowing smoke to get me to spend $200 on his terrain. In which case, mission accomplished.

Except fantasy and pancake rules had very little in common and its a pretty common assumption (wether real or imagined) that 6ed 40k will have elements of 8ed fantasy. But battlefront has a number of ex- GW guys so perhaps he knows some stuff.

Yeah, pancake actually takes a lot of randomness out of the game.
Although maybe the comparison is between the things in the missing narrative section for 40K and stuff like the terrain rules in 8th. I can see how there'd be similarities there. Pancake also better codifies a lot of special rules, so maybe that's part of it too.
