From now on that girl is what I'll think that Killkrazy looks like.

Someone mentioned NO knight-titans, and no warlord titan.

DISCLAIMER: I wasn't at Adepticon, I don't keep up to date on 40k at all, and Killkrazy is now and always will be a cute japanese chick.

Which goes against what FW have said on other occasions(most notably: their Open Day).

That said, is Adepticon really a place where much news comes out?

Also some greens of DE homonculi.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not.

If you are: those are very old photographs, which are of test models which likely will never see production.

I don't hold out much hope for anything concrete, everyone seemed to be quite tight lipped at Salute. The Battlefront guys wouldn't or couldn't even suggest what nations would make the next book.

My only news would be that 7TV was the most fun I've had in years.

Would it be too tricky for FW to say there is no knight -titans as there is no such thing as knight - titans and maybe there could be knights etc

The guys from FW get off on semantics. This is pretty plausible.

Under the couch

There a few bits and pieces being shown off. New post apoc game called wreck age that has some pretty minis. Some fantastic laser cut terrain from Tectonic Craft Studios. The Collosals from Warmahordes... I'm much more impressed with the kraken in the flesh, and the collosal troll is just pants-wettingly sweet.

A couple of companies I had never heard of selling generic fantasy minis that look ok. Cool Mini or Not were showcasing their Wrath of Kings range, which has some nice models in it.

There were demo games being run for Super Dungeon Explore, but nobody here selling the game (although CMON had the Soda Pop range) so I wound up buying some of the Puppet Wars minis for my fantasy chibi fix instead.

Was also disappointed in the lack of Infinity. Only one vendor had minis, and only the starter boxes... since I'm only after specific minis to paint rather than a game force, I would have been all over it if someone was selling blisters. Still, I now have a swag of Gamezone, Dark Age and Malefaux minis to paint instead.

The Knight Titan thing was just me taking a shot at Platuan4th; I made the entire thing up out of whole cloth as a joke.

(There is much drinking at Adepticon, which spawns such madness).

There's been no GW news from here; I don't think GW has had an official presence here since 2009.

Do you think that that's a result of Privateer Press games going on at he convention, or
the cause of Privateer Press games being invited into the convention?

In the dark recesses of your mind...

GW isn't in the business of supporting tournaments any more. I'm not sure if their decision to not have a presence beyond the FW booth has anything to do with whether or not PP has a presence.

Kudos to PP on their fantastic support of Adepticon! GW could learn a thing or two about supporting the hobby from them.

I don't know whether or not Games Workshop supplies the tournament
prizes, but if they do it's quite a bit

Didn't this happen last year where everyone was saying GW didn't support the con and came out they were actually the biggest supporter of the con and dwarfed everything else?

I don't know, but the prize support for the various events is always generous. I'm
just wondering what the source of it is. I'm assuming it comes from Games
Workshop. Maybe it just has to be played up more by event officials. Privateer
Press support came in the form of swag and staff.

It's different approaches, to be sure.

Not much point in GW being at these things since they don't do previews and every other stand at the show will have their products, but at discounted prices.

BL and FW were at Salute, not having a main GW didnt make a jot of difference.

Haha yes, while I would love to claim the potato camera as my own, sadly those pics are just taken from BoW

Did anyone see if there was any Mantic or Infinity related stuff at either of the shows?
