So thinkin 5x warriors w/ 2x destroteks as a backfield obj holder/more at would be a good choice for 135 pts. This leaves me 13 points left.... I can get 1 warrior or gaze of flame on one of those destroteks. Thought?

I look at your list and it feels light on the MEQ killing power. Now that might be me thinking about a major tournament but how would you deal with a marine army with over 60 marines most with FNP and no Vehicles? Or a draigo list, or a purifier spam list.

I guess the biggest question is what is your local meta that you are building this list against.

People who stopped buying GW but wont stop bitching about it are the vegans of warhammer

Draigowings simple; hit with stalker, unload on them. They can only make so many 2 plus saves! Fnp marines are always rough with crons, I'm just gonna weight of fire em down. Pretty much the high meta lists here:

Mechwolves
Twc
Mechtemplars
Wave serpent/walker spam eldar
Stormraven/razorspam ba
Dark eldar raiderspam
Ork bw rush

And a few others. Pretty much this list wants to live through whatever you throw at it then throw tons back at you. Lots of 4 plus rp, lots of firepower, and lots of av 13

Oh throw draigowing and purifier spam in there too

I like this list, dude. I think it can work without assault, though since getting into D.E I do prefer assault elements just to finish units off. Anyway, that's just a thought and I don't think is 100% needed.

What I think you could do is maybe switch things around a little bit. At the moment you have 7 AV13 wannabe vehicles, that's pretty tough. I think you could squeeze in more by ditching some upgrades and taking a second CCB and also another Ghost Ark. With the Triarch Stalkers you need as much shooting as possible to benefit from the twin-linked awesomeness, with extra Ghost Ark and more Lanceteks you're going to get more destruction in there.

I would do something like this, check points because I haven't.

Overlord w/ Catacomb Command Barge warscythe
Royal Court 3 x Crypteks w/ harbinger of destruction & solar pulse

That was my original style list, but it lacks flexibility. I'm also only iusing the single ark as mobile cover, 3 is a little overkill imo. Good stuff tho!

I can't see a single Ghost Ark providing much cover tbh. I would take two at least for that purpose. You could maybe ditch a Ghost Ark and Warrior unit and add in a unit of Tomb Blades? That keeps with the shooty shooty none combat style of the army and gives you a fast objective contesting unit?

I could see 2 arks working well... Perhaps ill add one down the road, but for now, ill work with 1 and see how it goes (cost constraints currently)

I think two Ghost Arks would be sweet and can provide cover to Annihilation Barges which are behind them.

Here's what I came up with for the ideas in this thread:

(2) Overlord; Phaeron, Warscythe, MSS, Res Orb, Phase Shifter
Court 1:
HoD w/ Pulse, Gaze
(2) HoD
Court 2:
HoD w/ Pulse
(2) HoD

(2) Triarch Stalker w/ Heavy Gauss Cannon

17 Warriors
18 Warriors
5 Warriors in a Ghost Ark

Doomsday Ark
(2) Annihilation Barges

Attach the Overlords and the 2 pulse crypteks to the foot warriors and 2 HoD crypteks to the embarked squad. Unleash terror!

Here's a nice start for a list like this mate:

OverLord

Well that's all of your cryptek slots used up, but I'd say they are in great concentrations. The arks provide cover and hide your lances while making your scoring warriors frustrating to commit anything less than obliterating fire to.

For the record, I think adding a phaeron to an immortal squad really requires thinking because it makes that squad so much less efficient at the jobs you are buying it for, where as it's advantages over tesla are already pretty slim.
I also don't know why you would buy phaeron for a squad that wasn't maxed.
Warriors also function mainly as scoring regenerating ablative wounds in a list like yours. They also unlock ghost arks. If you aren't planning on using them as cheap back field shields for guns or unlocks for av 13 transports, I'd think of something better to spend my points on.

i would consider as a core to a shooty necron list the triple stalker. They are just to good and double annhilation barge. You really need to pack that range punch on guard and space wolves and in general they are great cover for troops. As far as everything else is just flavor.

huh, that's a novel twist on the typical shooty harbinger list.
Have you tried playing a game with them?
I'd be interested to see how this variation works out.
