Well, I've been working more on the bike conversions, and just got 12 more koptas, but I also bought something else.

I got a good deal on a Necron codex with the sole intention of using them as a fast anti-tank source for my speed freeks.

Now, it's turning into a full Necron army, so keep an eye on this blog to see a army of heavily converted Orkrons!

Today's Update!

My local gaming store (which I've never gamed at) is doing a Warhammer painting contest.

Simply paint a model, submit it by this Saturday, and the top 2 models (rated by number of votes on facebook) win some prizes.

I was originally going to leave it as is, but now that you mention it, I think I'd like it more if the abdomen (I think that'd right, I'm not really certain on my spider anatomy) was done up as you suggest.

I'll work on that and post it up later!

Well, I finished the rider and base today, but I'm not uploading pictures just yet.

I'll take it down to the store that's running the contest, then post pics (they're taking pictures and the winner is determined via Facebook votes).

Another Update!

Last week, I suddenly got the idea of getting some Meganobz. However, I'm not a huge fan of the GW models (or their price), so I've done a few prototype conversions from regular Nobz.

Here they are:

Making these also makes me curious about running a count-as all terminator force, maybe DA (Deffwing), GK (Deff Knights), or SW (No cool nickname yet...)

You need moar armour. You've got some good power packs, and the klaws are of course mandatory, but slap some more plates on them. Leg armour, especially, will say "Meganob" instead of Nob.

And DeffWulvez?

I think with some more plates you'd be good to go.

And da deff nites sound pretty awesome!
