If you think thats all you have to do for a corporate bankruptcy, you er, seriously need to educate yourself.
I've taken a few companies through the process on the Bank side. Its a bloody, bloody process.

Well, I guess that's it for your last point. I'm glad this conversation has been fruitful.

Closing our a corporation is as easy as bankruptcy simple pre-made forms.

Thats fair. You don't have to vote for every item, just ones you have an interest in or are knowledgeable about. i've done that several times myself. And I complement you for voting young man.

OK mom, we'll preapprove all topics with you first. I'd like to first propose a topic about killing mountain lions with your bare hands. As you're an expert, I figure you're the guy to review.

Proof that Cap has a sense of humor. On topic, I'd love to contribute to this discussion in a helpful way, but I'm done being an English teacher, and reading an essay of that length just does NOT sound like a pleasant evening. If Obama is actually claiming credit for the soldier's kill, that's fethed up, and my respect for him has diminished greatly. If he told them he received intelligence that Bin Laden was in that area and ordered the troops to invade with lethal force if needed and claimed credit for sending them in, then he's in the right to claim credit for that. It is actually a difference, even if it seems a bit murky. One instance gives Obama the right, the other instance does not.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Might want to keep up with the times. Santorum has been out of the race for a while. And recent polls show Romney VERY close to Obama.

Not one step backwards Comrades, er Forward! Don't forget once all this election nonsense is out of the way, he will have greater leeway to do what he wants.
Forward! The EPA hasn't quite killed coal, but will by the end of the year. Natural gas, you're next!
Forward! We need to spend several billion more on antiquated green energy companies that provide me with corporate contributions.
Forward! Feel the wind in your hair with 2% economic growth.
Forward! Our attempts to ship guns to Mexican cartels so that we could institute bans on firearms didn't work out, but we can redouble our efforts!
Forward! Our proposed budgets were rejected by every member of the House and Reid is afraid to put it to a vote in the Senate. Next year we can put forth a plan that will be rejected by twice that amount!
Forward! Analysts are warning another downgrade is coming if something is not done. lets prove investment grade rating don't matter!
Forward! We tried to get gas to $9 a gallon but only made it halfway. With new leeway I'm sure we can get that to $6 a gallon next year!
Forward! We're not going to say what we'd do in the next four years but Bo says vote for me (so I don't eat him)!

Whats interesting is that I don't actually watch Fox except for listening to talking heads on the way back to Houston on Sundays. I do watch CNN though and listen to the NPR and the BBC daily. I guess they're mental poison.

I understand it's difficult but if we could at least try to perhaps elevate the discourse a bit more than this it would be much better for everyone.

And if you can't or don't want to ( for whatever reason) then just don't post. The world will still turn, politicians will still philander, they'lll still be wrong and you right over whatevervitalissue is the topic de jour.

And you post live longer too.

I do, however, blame medical practitioners for letting their patients die after making the patient agree to give them benefits on their life insurance policy.

Why? They were simply doing their (incredibly risk and dangerous) job. They didn't get the vital info, nor organize the operation. They certainly didn't fund it. What they did was brave and admirable, but why should they get a reward on top of their pay?

I think it's only fair that the Gun gets the bounty, since no matter who takes credit for the kill, there is no debate on the fact that a gun was involved.

While I agree in sentiment; the reward was actually not for capturing him but for providing information leading to his capture. Since a human did not provide the tip, no one was eligible; not even the SEAL's.

I think Harry has it right, I wouldn't have been opposed to giving them a little bit extra on top as a bonus, but $25 million? No, they were doing their job. And a fantastic job they did too.
