Metal Gear Solid 3 made me downright break down crying and smiling and all the feelings.
Metal gear solid 4 did the same.
Never got around to playing the story in RDR, too busy causing mayhem.
dont get me started on rage......

Agreed...
I have no idea what went on for the last hour of that game...
That made up about 1/4 of my play time as well...

Hard to answer. No game endings really stick out for me apart from 2:

Mass Effect 1 and Fable: The Lost Chapters

Funny how both the 3rd in the series had somewhat bad endings. Did Bioware learn from Lionhead??

Saying that Fable 3 was abysmal compared to the 1st, at least Mass Effect 3 was still really gd compared to the first.

I have a lot of games with endings I really enjoyed but to say a favorite? Ya I cant think of any

I've always thought games have bad ending (and bad story lines) but there was one game with simply yet elegant story line with surprising plot twist, memorable characters and ending that is the cake.

I liked Dead Island's ending.

Had a movie type ending that could stand alone, but left it open for a sequel.

Actually, I take back my earlier statement. Greatest ending to a game ever was found in a diamond of a gem for xbox called Breakdown. It was a brilliant title, and gaming magazines talked about it for a year or so after releasing, wondering why nobody was buying it. Blame it on a lack of advertising I guess.

In my short 22 years of life I have played million and one game. And out of them all my favorite ending is...

Fate/Stay Night - Fate route ending. That was the only ending where I was crying at the end. In all seriousness I cried for like several hours after seeing it

Worst ending must be Mass Effect 3, I lost almost all interest for Mass Effect universe after seeing it.
