Completely varies with the setting I think - playing with my friends, while we are learning the game together we sometimes have a variable of 20 points or more between us.

Perhaps a little bit rude doing it against someone you don't know - although I wouldn't mind, it would give me an excuse to use then if I lost

We usually try to keep it right on because it makes creating the list a bit more of challenge and fun.

Well said, i was trying to put that into words. That's exactly why we do it, it's just way more fun i find. You should see the thread on my Caledonian list over on the official forum. CDK will remember the insanity no doubt.

Well thankyou everybody for the help. I did manage to adjust my list so I'm actually a point under 200. And I just paid for all of it off of ebay. Should have it all no later then Monday. Now I am just looking for a rulebook and more people to play with. Working on drumming up some more interest at my FLGS. I'm actually really excited to try this game out.

I'll have to check that out. I don't go there as much now since I'm here!

You may remember that when you dropped into the thread near the end i had, had the original idea beaten out of me by the list doctors and my own noobish naivety.

So I hae another question. Does anyone now of a good site for terrain in the U.S.? I've looked at the sarrisa and I really like it but if there is something else that is based in the U.S. for me that would be great.

Alright well my Mormaer and tank hunter arrived today. As soon as I'm done typing this here message they are being put together, base coated and painting started. I'm really very excited to get started on these guys. More then i have been for new models in a long time. Also I'm getting word out at my FLGS to try and drum up some interest. In fact even my wife has decide to join in and picked the Panoceania Military order starter box with a knight hoppitlar as her start. So I'll actually have a second set of stuff to try and demo the game once I get the rules down. Hopefully this all means that i can get a good gaming group going for Infinity here Pcola. Wish me luck everybody.

There's actually some companies that make terrain specifically for Infinity, though mostly based in Europe. The below are all European, but are the best of the Infinity designed stuff I'm aware of.

Microart Studios have some awesome stuff, including walls, laser gates, holographic ad boards and HDF apartment buildings. Microart stuff is officially Infinity terrain, licensed.

Sarissa Systems also has a huge range of HDF buildings as well, in a similar style to Microart Studios stuff, and is actually really cheap.

Warmill has a bunch of stuff as well, including my favorite, an upcoming Noodle Bar.

Well I finally played my first game today. It was me and another guy at my FLGS who I had gotten interested in. Anyways we played using the Ariadna and Military Orders starter boxs. Went pretty well, we played keeping things pretty simple for right now. All in all that was some of the most fun I have ever had playin a game. It went by pretty quick though. I gotta say that sniper can be devasting. But my initial impressions are that I am really gonna love this game. Hopefully I can get more people interested in it and have even more people to play against.

Kind of hard to say. I really liked the ARO system keeping us engaged the entire game was nice. I will say that having that game going did help to drum up some more interest in it as well.

He did pretty well along with the chassuer actually. At the end they were the only one's still alive. We played with an objective rather then just a straight kill each other game. I think I need to break in my dice a little more. Kept rolling high for once.
