4+4+6=14 so Shrike assaults first turn he gets.
Assuming there is LoS blocking terrain 12.1" away and he gets first turn...the odds of both occurring are in the minority.

For a fluff fight, if GW ever put these two head to head either it would be "Yarrick was saved by the miraculous intervention of (Insert enemy name here) and was able to escape with his life while Shrike fought alone. When the blood had ran cold, Shrike turned to the skies. he would find his prey again."
Who knows, depends entirely on who's writing it and who the protagonist of that particular story is. We've had the same author write a squad of CSM's as being defeatable by a squad of guardsmen and about 40 primitive villagers in a village raid, and a tac squad engage and slay thousands of Dark Eldar in a single engagement, and he's one of the more consistent authors.

"Lol Shrike trollfacebutt hurts Yarrick because he is a SPESS MARHEEN!! Lol."
that is more accurate than you may realize. So much GW/BL fluff is basically "b...b..because Space Marines...!!!!!!"

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Because.it.is a GW universe and going.by.GW laws, Space Marines trollbutthurt anyone they fight. Unless they lose slightly. Even then they just come back later and somehow win.

For example in the SM dex Fall if Damnos the Dreadnought explodes just as the marines are about to get their extraction shot down, killing all the Crons.

If you play a game or scenario you must play by the rules. And GW always rules in favour of SM. Unless its Batman. The answer is always Batman.

And whereas that Warboss is capable of killing captains with ease, but we're talking about one of the more capable captains here...

My money is on Yarrick, mainly because he's not just some random human and has ten dudes backing him up. they can at least be used as fodder until Yarrick get's to use his "klaw".

Your forgetting thats because after Ghaz utterly kicked his ass, he let him live so he can do it again. Dont confuse yourself that its because hes that badass, its because Ghaz simply didnt kill him

*I cant spell

And he didn't kill him because he put up enough of a fight for Ghazzy to let him go so they can fight again.

Well thats a little out of context here. When we say Yarrick put up a good fight, we are talking how he commanded his army. As a leader he surprised Ghaz enough to make Ghaz and crew want to keep him alive, so they know they WILL ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD FIGHT. That says nothing about how badly Ghaz kicked his ass in a 1 on 1. Which was pretty epically bad
