Thanks Temujin!

The rocks on the bases are actually tree bark. In one of the shots you can see the brown lumpy bit next to the finished bases.

I wanted the Immortals to stand out a bit since I will be using them as Anrakyr's Pyrrhian Eternals. I am doing them in aged bone and black similar to my Lord with beads on his neck and my counts as Anrakyr model. Those were both very time consuming though and its taking a long time. I still have 3 wraiths and a nightscythe to put together in 2 weeks...

Im sweatin!

Hello everyone. I posted a bit ago that I had entered a painting contest at the local store. There were 3 categories.

Best Unit
Best large model
Best Hero/Hq model

I entered for all 3.

I put my Anrakyr conversion as my HQ, a wraith for large, and my lychguard w royal court up for unit.

I won best unit!

There were some great entries and I was very happy and honored to be chosen considering some of the entries I was against. The contest was judged by peers and customers.

For trophys the manager takes all the returned failcast minis and paints them gold rather than throwing them away. No idea what model mine is but Ill post a picture.

Work also continuea on the immortals for the call to arms battleforce competition.

Amost finished here with the immortals for the painting competition.

Need to paint the guns, do a white highlite on the bone, red highlite on the "racing stripe", do some minor touch-ups, glue them, attach to bases, and seal them.

Next I will be doing 2 Nightscythes.

There's only a couple of Necron armies in the world I want to see on the table across from me, due to their power levels in 6th Ed. This is one of them. I will gladly take a beatdown from such gorgeous miniatures.

Wow, thank you!

Im hoping to get a game in next weekend. The goal is for a fully painted game. I will take pictures of both armies and try to do a brief battle report.

Looking good on the Scythe! Surely, you could add more stuff to it, I wonder?

I LOVE your black and bone and red scheme. So much that I'm stealing it for my CSM! (I was thinking of doing a black and red scheme, and this is close to what i had in mind, but I didn't think about using bone color!)

Something like this:

Great work - keep the pics coming!

Work got crazy busy. Havent had more than an hour to paint since last post.

Those CSM should look pretty awesome. Post some pics here when you finish your test mini.

Here is a small update on Nightacythe. Thanks again :-)

Very cool! Yes, the Scythes look much better with all the details picked out and whatnot. On that note, what about the guns? Plan to paint them, and how?

Will finish it by today. I have not updated this in a long time. I fell ill and it prevented me from painting. Ive got the itch again though. Will take lightbox photos later.

Very nice models! Congrats on the trophy too!

The trophy is the Vlad Von Karstein model from the vampire counts (WFB) by the way.

Thanks Mastiff and Dr. Temujin!

Was a long time coming.

I still have just a few things to paint for my necron. I have moved onto painting some tau. I got red'ed out (as in way to much red paint) heh.

Will keep more pictures coming though!

Cheers!
