Really looking forward to this - especially if it is a shiny as Tactica Aeronautica main rulebooks as they are lovely

in an ideal world I want a full update book for TA as well with all the shiny new aircraft

That only leaves 1 unknown (at least going by my account).

Why are you including the GW fliers, like the Harpy, *scythes, etc? This is a Forgeworld release. That means 40 Forgeworld fliers. GW fliers are in their own codices.

Have you seen FW books at all? They include normal 40k stuff.

Only the campaign books. And Forgeworld aren't allowed to do rules in their books for anything done by the studio anymore (this is the reason the Barbed Heirodule and Heirophant were left out of Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition, the studio did rules for them in the main Apocalypse book).

Since this is not a campaign book, and actually follows exactly the format of IAA Second Edition (ie a bunch of individual entries for some armies), and going by the fact that Forgeworld simply aren't allowed to put rules for codex units in their books anymore, I'd say there's a good chance that we won't see codex fliers in this.

I for one cannot wait for new fliers or this new IA. In fact, I'm pretty stoked for 6th edition, so anything new by FW/GW I'll gladly look at and then probably find something else to spend my money on.

Harbinger? As in actual 40K rules for a Harbinger? D'ya think we'll get a model?

It says it's 40 fliers and anti-aircraft vehicles. So you have to squeeze things like the Flakka-trakk, Whirlwind Hyperios, that Eldar tank with the triple scatter laser that I can't remember the name of, etc. I also get the feeling it probably won't include Super-heavies, but I don't have anything to base that off. Just seems too early after a new rule-set for them to be updating the Super-heavies, unless 6th includes rules for them.

But some of the iconic fliers such as the Thunderhawk are superheavies
