Subject: Injustice: Gods Among Us, a DCU fighting game by NRS.
The characters that are coming up the most in everyones' wishlist is:
Black Canary
Static Shock
Robin (Might be already covered with Nightwing, who knows)
Shazam/Black Adam/Captain Marvel
Nightwing
Cyborg
Bane
Sinestro
Black Manta
and oddly enough, Aquaman
That means piss all, but hey, Nightwing and Cyborg were there, and they got in. I'm not talking one or two persons list, but ALL of them includes at least half of these.

From an interview I was listening to, the main costumes are New 52 based (Can anyone give me a crash course as to what this actually means?), but the storyline is going to be original, scribbed by the DCU people.

New 52 is a(nother, needless IMO) reboot of the DCU. Same characters, new universe/timeline. It also absorbs Wildstorm and some Vertigo(like Hellblaizer) into the main DC line(though many of the Vertigo characters had already had appearances in the previous incarnation since it was the same universe).

It's been a while since anything has been posted in here. Had to look for this thread, because I am just stupedly excited for the game. Played it at Gamescom and it was really cool, reminded me a lot of MK9, but with tons of moves and events to make it more comic-y. If you haven't been following the game anymore, there's been a ton of announcements since Catwoman. Bane Shazam Lex Luthor Joker Hal Jordan Aquaman Deathstroke Green Arrow
The story sounds great too. A bit like the Justice Lords episode from the JL cartoon. Basically Superman snaps and declares himself ruler of the world.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and they also announced several alternate costume packs based on Red Son, Blackest Night and Arkham City.
