Random Terminator #2 in my double CML-Tankhunters squad. 4 S8 AP3 and 4 S7 AP4 TL shots with Tank Hunters is pretty damn good IMO.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back. |

Termies are a waste to man this gun.

I used this combo last night (using a quad gun)
Between the Scout squad and Telion on the Quad Gun, I took out the Avatar of Khaine, a Wraithlord and 2 Warwalkers with it. I would say it was certainly worth the points.
Also, I wanted to confirm that Telion gets his precision shots for the Quad Gun -- anyone have a page reference that I can use to prove that this does confer his special abilities?

Just thought I'd clarify, since there seems to be some debate as to the relative effectiveness of the Icarus and the quad gun.
Assuming a target with AV-11 and 3 hull points, and a gunner with BS of 5+, a Quad-Gun has a 59.5% chance to destroy the target (3 HP or explode result). This increases to 89.2% with Tank Hunters.
With the same conditions an Icarus has a 21.6% chance to destroy the target, 28.8% with Tank Hunters.
An Icarus with TH is significantly inferior to a Quad-Gun without TH. In addition the Quad has a broader bell curve of useful results. Even if it fails to destroy the target, the Quad has a 91.4% chance to inflict at least 2 HP. If it fails to destroy the target the Icarus has only a 59.4% chance to inflict a single HP.
Unless you are firing at Land Raiders (which single Lascannons shouldn't be shooting at anyhow), or some strange breed of AV-13 flyer that I am unaware of, the Quad-Gun is almost universally better.
