This is how we still play. With the rules we liked from 8th added on. Ie. 2 rank shooting, 18" leadership bubble for large target generals, BSB giving re-rolls to more than just break tests, march blocking flyers drops them to 10"

I started playing Fantasy back in 5th edition, but 8th is easily my favorite. There's just a lot more game balance in 8th from the armies that are out there today.

I'm hopeful that when 9th comes out here in a couple years, the only changes we see are caps on unit sizes and possibly Look Out Sir! rolls for the big spells, but really that's about it.

I am new with 8th, as far as playing goes. I was somewhat familiar with the rules for 7th, but was just starting to collecting a Fantasy army at that point.

I like 8e.

I've played fantasy since 5th. I think 8th is the most fun I've had since starting.

I learned to play in 6th, really started playing in 7th, and started enjoying myself in 8th.
