So looks like Horus; Seizes like a Necron Lord, hits like a Demolisher Cannon, saves like a TH/SS Term, can decide to use his claw/mace like a Logan, is as tough as a Tyranid MC and seemingly Will Not Die. Avatar looks strange.

Ok Horus Heresy -
Next book - 'Massacre' - including Iron hands, Salamanders, Night Lords and Word Bearers. In the 2nd seminar Alan Bligh explained a lot about how the Primarch rules were put together - the basic outline for them all is done.
New Mechanicus being worked on - they have a torso done. Mourneival (spelling?) the sons of Horus termies are almost ready and look very cool.
Primarchs/Character boxes - Angron then Abbadon vs Loken, then Fulgrim, the probably Horus. Some will get more than one version.
Lorenzen @ B&C wrote:

Annnd some more info spotted:
"Mechanicus - first torso is for a heavy armourered troop, but the name escapes me. Its basically a power armoured robot with a spine and brain inserted. Model will be about Ogryn size."
Looks like the Legio Cybernetica is in! Niiiceee!
And even more courtesy of fraggle @ warseer:
I asked Jez Goodwin about Eldar - he is thinking about them (described as always doing that!) - releases will 'fix obvious holes in the range'. They will look to release an Apoc size kit, but in general everyone was quite coy on the timescales.
IA 1 second edition will be like a summary book for Imperial Guard (all rules for current kits in one book). IA12 will be necrons (with a dynasty specific list), DKOK (with a '6th friendly' list) and Minotaurs.
HH - Legion specific contemptors - Death Guard and World Eaters appear to be finished.

I like what I can see in the shot for the Night Shroud. Sentry Pylon isn't that different from the current one, maybe it's smaller?

...Crap.
I'm going to have to buy that.
MAGUS! WOW!
But honestly, I hope all that stuff on the right is just test sculpts.. the Magus isn't that great, and that Avatar looks horrible compared to the FW one... it just looks like a lumpy and out of proportion re-pose of the original to me.. .
I hope that Imperial Guardsman to the right of the Magus isn't a test sculpt. It's a Cadian on the vox, yelling at someone like he's calling in artillery.
Who do I have to talk to to get myself one?

So 4 Legions per Book...
Six of the traitors at Istvaan will be covered in the first 2, the second half may be Raven Guard and the AL , IW and TS ? Or just 3 Legions?
The Salamanders and Iron Hands as first batch of Loyalists...and a chance to have the Raven Guard in the second book..

Hmm, Forgeworld could end up with more of my cash than GW in a year or so. Okay yeah, it ends up going to the same place in the end, but some of that Heresy info sounds amazing.
Oh and all I can hope with the Warhammer Quest app, is it proves that popular to make GW consider a re-release of the actual game.
I also agree, the Deathwing banner fella is excellent. Also love the rescaled Blood Axe nob from years past, awesome, but possibly test pieces as has already been suggested. I hope not, but it looks an odd assemble of figs and some are clearly better than others.

That's already happened with me. I spend all GW bound cash on FW goodies these days. From a GD point of view, Forgeworld previews and releases seemed to have eclipsed anything from the main studio. In fact, the only reason I'd have to go to a GD would be to see the FW stuff... Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and Necron RoB tile spotted:
