Good to see that the Harridan is suddenly so viable - it's a huge weakness of D-weapons, that they can't hit flyers at all. Need more Flyrants! With Smash, they actually have a decent chance of doing some damage in a round of combat.
We've been preparing for this
Apoc battle since our last tyranid-imperial battle almost 1 year ago. Unfortunately, we kind of got into an arms race and have been stockpiling on our big guys. Well, I can assure you that that is over, at least for me. I've got more than enough big bugs for many more
apoc battles to come. As a matter of fact, I'm probably going to have to get rid of some of my big bugs in the near future.
We had a total of 6 flyrants - 4 for me and 2 for my partner. I hastily converted 3 flyrants just the night before for this battle. I think 6 flyrants is good enough.

Totally amazing
Agree with Jan, good to see the Harridan doing well, always loved the model and idea of it.
Yeah, I thought we were done for after the first 2 turns of Imperial shooting.
Thanks to Harry the Harridan for saving the day. That guy's a beast in
Apoc. In 2 games now, he was responsible for the destruction of a Warlord Titan, a Reaver Titan and a Warhound Titan as well as various Imperial and Tyranid collateral damage.
