PP refunds back into PP.. should be instant. PP back into a bank account, no idea how long PP sit on it, as technically if its in Europe inc the UK the have the ability to do it instantly almost they. They certainly have the infrastructure in place to do so.
Pm me your order number and or helpdesk ticket and I can check for you.

well after taking them allmost 2weeks to update my order status from "havnt botherd picking it yet " its now changed to "um we were selling it but didnt really have any "..

so ive sent them a ticket saying i want a refund as ive just gone and orderd them direct {costing £2 more but i will get these ones this year}
strange how at work we can design ,order and fit a custom kitchen in the same amount of time they have taken to tell me they havnt got any stock ...

any bets on how many wekks i will be waiting to get my money back ? poor.

so just got a autoreply for my ticket seems the software has changed the priority from the urgent status i set it at to low ,seems even the website is slack lol

Curnow,

your refund will be with you as soon as possible. you would also have received an email explaining why a refund was given.

We have probably the busiest weekend ever migrating to live stock levels to do this we had to ensure a huge number of existing orders for items were updated in time and if anything was doubtful to arrive back in stock within a reasonable period the CS guys were instructed to complete the orders, get out as much of customers orders as possible and refund the outstanding emails with an explanation as to why this was happening this weekend.

Regarding your assertion that someone has downgraded your ticket, its not the case. No one on the staff has the ability to do it.

New site looks good, a much better layout than the old one although the new one now doesn't work on IE6 that we are forced to use at work.

Not that I browse these websites at work.

Thanks guys appreciated.

There have been a few moments of ohh we have them in stock didn't realise since the weekend

And we have over 1400 of one product, not saying what - you will have to find it.

There is a backlog from the halt in packing over the stock check weekend and system change but the guys are flat out.

They are 1 hour out of date at the moment, the synch is getting closer and closer to real time over the next week or so, which allows all the target stock levels to be calculated too. We hope.

Because there isn't a retailer discount for Forgeworld, you are basically asking Wayland to order it for you and put it with your other toys. The 'negative percentage' is their 'fee' for ordering from forgeworld for you and shipping out to you.

Great

oh and please say you're going for a more maelstrom-like product display within a category; actually having it all, with thumbnails, on a single page, in neat subcategories is vastly superior to 10-per-page lists.

Thanks Rich. I appreciate that. I've just been interested in knowing if it was completely dead or still a possibly down the line (pretty much since that first weekend).

On another note, I got my X-Wing box from Wayland yesterday. Haven't opened it up yet, but nicely packed and sent quickly. If only you could have kept the free shipping promo going for a few more days - I get my pay next Wednesday. Damn this fortnightly pay cycle!

Well i can answer one issue and that is the issue pertaining to their STILL BORN GW ROW section, well it goes like this, Games Workshop announced that new terms and conditions on Northern Hemisphere distributors that they can no longer sell product to the Southern Hemisphere, this embargo would begin on midnight 31st May 2011.

Within days Wayland boasted proudly that they had found a legal loophole to continue to sell GW products to the ROW (Southern Hemisphere) and this proud boast was repeated time and time again and stated that by 12.00 GMT on the11th July 2011 (If memmory is correct) that their ROW section would be up and running, they even had a ROW section page set up in the GW section (Remember that guys), well then the long saga began. So 12.00GMT 11th July 2011 came and went and no product, but the ROW section continually sais something like stock will be listed in 2 weeks from that start date, eventually nothing came of it.

Wayland blamed their move, but still found time and effort to list new products for sale, but no ROW, even during their botched move, they sold product, that was new, but again no ROW, so i enquired about it and was told that they will begin in the 1st Q of 2012, then 2nd Q, then 3rd Q, so on and so on, excuse after excuse, but they continued to list brand new products but no ROW, even going to the point of removing the ROW section from their GW section.

Well again thousands of requests have gone unanswered or outright ignored, i can tell everyone that what i was told by someone that is in the industry that Wayland is in, and that is Wayland CANNOT sell to the ROW, why? because if they do Games Workshop will sue the pants of Wayland, cancel their license to sell all products under the Games Workshop banner including Forgeworld and Black Library, they (Wayland) have known about this for months have not told anyone the real reason, because to do so will bankrupt Wayland, again they know this.

So here is an open challenge to Wayland, if i am so full of crap, i challenge you to get off your backside and have the ROW section up and running by 12.00 GMT on the 15th October 2012 and absolutely prove me wrong, but i know you can't.

Uh, yeah I know all about what happened. I was here before, during and after. I've even read the updates as they happened, and I was also frustrated with the silence and lack of updates, hence my asking Rich twice in this thread. I'm pretty sure I understand the situation now though, and I'm also now happy to patiently wait and see - no silly internet ultimatum needed.

What an unreasonable post. We have clearly stated the issue is tied up with lawyers currently, and until there is nothing new to post we wont be making any more comments about it. We have stated this multiple times, we are not ignoring it. The resources expended already are significant. Your friend is incorrect btw. A court would decide whether or not something is acceptable or not. I would imagine our advice is different to that which your friend has sought.

Just to add, we had an abortive warehouse move last year, it cost us lots of money and we discovered an issue at the last minute that had been concealed from us. We had to go the whole process to find a new home and then wait for significant building works to complete, and then our own works which we moved into in May. Anyone that has visited will know that this was a massive project at a vast cost. We also have other projects on the go which the results of can now be seen, stock levels, refresh to site, TTN. All of these take resource and we are a small company still.

I have to make sure we do things at a pace that do not put any part of the business at risk, we can see from competitors how badly that can turn out.

If Games Workshop had a sense of humor they would allow Wayland Games to sell their product to ROW for 24 hours starting on the 15th of October.

If you're looking for feedback, rather than moans about stuff that isnt to do with your website, it looks and naviagtes much better than the old site. The main thing that I'd change is to make your search results/category displays so that instead of going to next page for the next 10 items they loaded five new products once you have reached the bottom of the list. I don't know what it's called as I'm not a coder, but I know that it makes my shopping experience nicer.

I disagree, there's nothing I hate more in a website than the content jumping around on its own volition. The page should display what I want, not what some programmer somewhere thinks I should want.

Definatly better website but since each of the 4 times I've ordered 'in stock' items, and ditto with about 6 orders between 2 of my other mates I've gone elsewhere (darksphere), however they do not do GW stuff by post any more =(

All I'm seeing is the same excuses ad infinatum - warehouse move, GW issues, stock issues. As a former potential customer I don't care. I'll happily pay 2% difference to actually be able to get my stuff within a reasonable time period.

They are not excuses. I won't apologize for being open with customers. I will give an example of this the last few weeks.
New releases from GW. We have pre orders for an item of X. We ask GW specifically in advance if any of the items are limited in any way. They respond no they are all not limited. We order what we need and some for stock holding. When we receive the order those items have been limited to a smaller number. We will get the frustration from customers.

The issue is with pricing is that people expect exactly the same levels of service for heavily discounted items as they would paying full price, which is fine. But this industry isn't one where a normal store can afford to invest in slow moving lines heavily and stay in business very long. The supply chains are not sophisticated enough to match the expectations of customers used to shipping at places like Amazon etc. It is changing slowly but its not a mass market commodity industry. Which in many ways is a good thing.

I would like to have nothing more than 100 of everything we stock on the shelves at any time but the margins simply don't allow it. We just had our stock check at the weekend. Including our retail store we have £494,000 give or take of stock on the shelves. It still isn't enough to fulfill every possible permutation of order every day.
