Alright, sort of an update, the ghost arks aren't going to be pirate ships anymore.... they're going to be ghost pirate ships (emphasizing the ghost aspect more) they'll look something like this:

also Captain Jack's mini broke when I tripped over him a couple days ago, but that gives me the opportunity to redo him. originally he was supposed to look like a famous woodcut of Blackbeard, but I kind of forgot to look it up before I made the model, so now he's getting a redo to make his pose match the woodcut. perhaps you've seen it before:

anyways I need to order some more stuff from my FLGS back home, expect some substantive updates tomorrow. also I may be able to squeeze some fluff out this morning, but no promises,

Hey everyone, I'm putting this blog on hold for the next couple of months while I work on my IG. don't get me wrong, Necrons are a great army, but they don't have something that makes IG really shine for me: versatility. I'll come back to this army once my IG is done. until then feel free to check out my work on my IG until I get back to this sometime early next year I estimate.

it's a money thing, I just don't have the resources to work on both armies at once on my college student budget, and after doing the math there’s no way I’d have an army ready in time to face my buddy in a few weeks if I did the pirates, sorry everyone. But there is hope: the stuff for the pirates is going on my Christmas list, and I’ve got a nice long break in December so when I say early in the New Year I do mean early.

Hey everyone, Just had a bolt from the blue of inspiration regarding this army, and seeing as most of the minis I'd already assembled have broken, this will be the reboot of the army. from now on everything will be new and improved. also I need some advice on one of the models: should Anne still be a siren, or should I base her look off of the main character in the anime "bodacious space pirates"? also I found some unassembled minis and a lot of bitz to work with, so expect to see some more from this blog over the next couple of days.
