I'm not sure that PP will be doing plastic Iron Fangs anytime soon, since the 10-man unit box just came out this last year. I am super excited about the plastic WG, though....

I don't think they'll do them in plastic since they're the only unit that uses that body. All their other small plastics have two flavors of units that use the same center of mass. Storm Blade/Guard. Winter Guard Infantry/Rifle Corps, Knights Errants/Exemplar. Would also apply to the new Legion medium based plastic infantry. Does not apply to the Fenn Blades, but those were the first and might have been a learning thing, or to the new Skin Walkers, which might be a bite the bullet thing so they could include them in the starter.

Warspears are the only plastic Legion unit. They've been around as long as the Fennblades have been, they're not new. Also, the Warpborn don't have a second unit(yet) that they've for.

Good point. The IFP aren't actually bad to put together, in fact I LOVE the sculpts - but they really do need their pikes brass rodded. It takes some effort, but it's so worth it.

I also think the Skinwalkers were put out in pewter first because at the time PP was having trouble with their plastics production facilities - I vaguely remember hearing something along those lines on the PP forums. I'd love to pick up a metal unit of Skinwalkers, but honestly, the plastic ones have been going for between $15-$20 on eBay, and that's such a hard deal to pass up.....

Medium-based and larger tends to be things PP wants to do in plastic or as hybrids when they do them. Anything not changed yet are probably just easier to do in metal still for PP. This seems to be the case with Gatorman Posse, Ogrun Warmongers, and cavalry currently. Skinwalkers, by contrast, something got able to be done it seems and well, we have what we have.

At WMW PP said they aren't planning on making everything one material. Models will be the materials that are most appropriate for the project at hand. I think PP has shown that medium and up, probably unless it's a character. But that's not a gauruntee so yeah.

And stuff.
