Well, the original PC game of shadowrun was a FPS that just didn't quite work from what I heard, and I don't expect more from a 2D turn based thing either.

Anyway, I hope Heresy come through this, as I always thought that their miniatures had a little more than most other companies. I liked the design and build of their demons - [Note to self: Get round to building and painting that 1KG of white metal.]

Does anyone know where I can get at least the dimensions of the back spines of an original Netherlord? Some replacements would be fantastic, but I can get by with the lengths.

The only thing in recent years is that now I have the money to be able to afford a large "Thrud", he's no longer available, and I am not that fond of the Nerdlord range including Dr. hugh and Ecclescake. Unfortunately for those, I prefer the sculpts done recently by Crooked Dice and I'd still prefer some 'classic' time travellers from that series.

Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Conrad Turner, as far as I can see Thrud is still available? http://www.heresyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=54&zenid=e8e9859161d0af964a90ae71bb828187

Just got a package today from Heresy. The Predator miniature just looks awesome, beautiful sculpt (and not as big as I had been lead to believe - perfect for some kind of 'get to the chopper' scenario for Infinity! ) and the civilian/worker models are nice little sculpts as well. Also got a sensor droid-type thing which looks kind of cool (kind of like the small toaster-robots that are in Star Wars) which I'm sure can be worked into some kind of scenario as well!

Also got a little note from the owner and a packet of sweets, in a neatly and securely packaged box. Overall really good service!

Pacific.

That's the standard size Thrud. The one I was talking about was a much bigger limited edition that I just wish I'd had the money for when it was available. It's now discontinued and not even on the site (Rather like my Netherlord Mk1).

Oh, and your "sensor droid type thing" is, if you get the right parts, the original "K-9" from classic Dr Who. All you need is the antenna with a loop at the end for the tail, and a dog shaped head. The antenna is in the base kit as is the control panel. The correct head is in the "Security Upgrade Sprue". The control panel in their picture of the base model is where the "Robotic canine head" should go, the control panel goes on the back, with the raised edges going forward and to the sides, and the antenna goes high on the rear.

Oh OK thanks for that mate, very interesting I didn't realise!

Regarding Thrud, have you thought about contacting the chap who runs Heresy and seeing if he has any plans to cast some more? He seems pretty amicable.

The Hurn is really cool. I got the first one, without the Helmet. Such a big model!
