Personally I think it's the Lion that was swept away in the last cataclysmic moments in the duel between himself and Luthor.

I mean the freaking planet exploded for god sake i'm sure Trazyn could have gotten close enough in some type of cloaked vessel to the fight to teleport aboard 'The Rock' and nab the lion in his weakened state then split. And as for Luthor babbling his nonsense he is a near lobotomized nutjob and traitor so how can the DA trust anything he says about the lions return or whereabouts?

It cannot be the Lion. its been confirmed that he is asleep in the Rock. The DAs don't know it, but we as the omnipresent 3rd party know this.

The Lion is interred in the Rock (actually in the room next to Luther). But only Azrael would know that to be true or not. But I don't think it happened as Necrons ain't actively hunted by the Dark Angels.

Just for fun I will write down the different Primarches, and the minute likeliness they are there.
I: Lion. Second weakest possibility of the loyal Primarches.
II: Data missing, strong possibility.
III: Fulgrim. Active as of late, so not him.
IV: Peturbo. Active legion, lazy Primarch. Quite likely.
V: Khan. Maybe, but lost in the webway or the warp.
VI: Leman Russ. Trapped in the warp, unlikely, but might happen.
VII: Rogal Dorn. Sources split over if he is dead, or lost in the warp sans hands.
VIII: Konrad Curze. Could be, but died without fear.
IX: Sanguinius. Then why did Dante ally with the Necrons against the Nids?
X: Ferrus Mannus. Trade for the C'tan maybe?
XI: Data missing, strong possibility.
XII: Angron. Nix, he is the most active of the Primarches.
XIII: Robute Guilliman. Least likely of the loyal Primarches since he is known to be seen by pilgrims. But also the most fun speculating about being held by Trazyn.
XIV: Mortarion. Smarking about getting a tattoo from Draigo, so not him.
XV: Magnus. Tends to get a spear thrown into his good eye. Isn't that humiliation enough?
XVI: Horus. Destroyed, if him then it's a clone.
XVII: Lorgar. Stolen while meditating?
XVIII: Vulkan. The strongest possibility next to...
XIX: Corax. ...next to Corax.
XX: Alpharius Omeron. Who knows. *Shrugs*

Of course this speculation is not serious, and just for fun nothing else.

If you have nothing nice to say then say frakking nothing.

Yes but this is second edition material so is it still valid?

Unless old material is contradicted by new, its always valid.

I had always assumed they were talking about a recovered Thunder Warrior. Their armor always struck me as more "baroque" than the primarchs', and they'd certainly be rare enough for Trazyn to be interested in.

Eldar shenanigans are the best shenanigans!

It's one of those GW questions they thought sounded cool to imply but had no intention going any further with. They'll never answer it and probably forget about the next time the next Necron codex comes about in 6-7 years.

Yes, it's implied he does. But expect it to never go further then that.

Copy and Pasted from the Lexicanum. I apologize for killing the party. On a side note, if they did break into the rock and steal the Lion...woa. Suddenly your going to see a Dark Angels crusade that will make their hunt for the Fallen seem like a christmas party. And they will give absolutely no reason why... Although, I imagine that the Watchers in the Dark will probably be really irritated with Trazyn and probably kill him and take his body back along with Lion's.

There is a problem.
Trazyin is Unkillable, hence 'The Infinite'.
He just jumps to another Necron somewhere else.

Really?

Is this true?

Also, Corax also went off to 'headbutt the Eye of Terror", but that was definitely 'old Fluff'.

The newer Raven Guard stuff would seem to be on course to radically change his story...

it probably wasnt horrus, I seem to remember him being oblitorated by big E
it wasnt sanginious, it would have mentioned if he had wings. Also his body is elsewhere
it wasnt cruze, he was assasinated on his ship and otherwise why take his body, dude was crazy
Wasnt lorgar or pertubo as they are also DPs doing their on thing.

And Lorgar didnt like fancy things, he wouldnt be wearing Baroque armor, unless Trazyn dressed him up post kidnapping.

or Kurze. Im not big on Chaos/Heresey fluff, but it isnt confimed hes dead right? and what with his Split personnality, it more than feasible he would be contorting his face in fear as his darker side took over.

Personally I don't like the idea of a Primarch. Its just a bit OTT, however I would lend my voice to it being 'the last Thunder Warrior'

Horus, Sanguinius, Kurze, and Manus are all deader than disco, it's not one of them. And it's not Magnus, because last we heard he doesn't even have a body any more.

Who knows what kind of things floats the boat of an immortal member of a race all too familar with pain that has been asleep for hundreds of thousands of years. Kidnapping genetic supermen that have been elevated to godhood and dressing them up might score about average or tame on the scale of necrons sexual appetites.

Conrad Kurze is confirmed dead killed by an imperial assassin aboard his flagship by his Astartes. I think the fluff is cool he just let the assassin kill him because he had foreseen it would happen.

I thought it was a case of 'assumed dead'.

Also, just a point, but people saying SM are giants, a Necron Overlord model is actually bigger...

Oh that sexual Exergy.

I thought more of it as a Necron dressing an over-grown Barbie. That would actually be a hilarious read. I actually didn't think anything sexual would be involved since I though Necrons lacked such organs and urges.

Yes, and imperial guardsmen are basically the same size as sm models, a rhino tank could never possibly fit 10 wiches in it, let alone 10 power-armored marines, the list can go on and on.

My point here is that the scale of 40k models does not relate at all to the fluff. If you take a 7-foot tall genetically modified super-human, and put him in massive power-armor, he is going to be closer to 8ft tall, the scale of 40k models shows me that the average cadian is between 6'10" and 7'6" tall.

Oh, also, you are comparing millions of years old alien robots to genetically altered humans, everyone else is comparing humans to genetically altered humans, big difference there as well.
