Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

Wow, excellent paintjobs!
I'm rather fond of when people add in a little storyline to their batreps, it makes them so much more interesting to read (not that you needed it, those models are gorgeous

JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.
corpsesarefun: Thank god I missed be nice to shrike day.
greenskin lynn: because of all the skittles and soda, you basically live off sugar water, like some sort of freakish human-hummingbird hybrid.

I think this is the first time I can finally understand why some events require painted armies!

This was like the perfect battle rapport of my dreams. Well built, converted and painted models, great terrain, beautiful pictures and very well written with a little bit of fluff.

Hehe yeah that was pretty funny. I took the photo of him firing before we rolled as I thought it was a clever shot, then he blew up!

I've seen some stunning batreps on this and other internet forums but this was utterly stupefying, I actully googled a synonym to try and express my appreciation
Dunno what else to say, except please post some more. Soon.

The tinniest, tinnest criticism: could you put the headings above the pics rather than below - I was thrown off ever so (very) slightly reading the heading above a pic but then looking below for the actual description.

Keep it up though GMM, a truely welcome addition to the Dakka batrep forum.

Its hella pretty, but with all the closeups its easy to lose the sense of where things are happening. An extra wide shot per turn woulda been nice. Gorgeous models though.

I'm utterly stunned with how fantastic that battle report was.

That was the most beautiful game I've ever seen.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.
