Your models are what I want to get to! I mainly just kit bash daemon stuff with my CSM to make them look nasty but when I get the confidence to play with GS then that's what I want to do! Great work!

Wow. Those are, by far, the most detailed and hilarious zombie conversions I have ever seen. Hat's off to you sir.

That zombie who's scratching its brain is hilarious, just really well captured. The entire squad together look outstanding!

Vacation - Day 4:

Spent 8 hours today painting. Got 76 points worth of models done. A whole model!

Custom obliterator is in the bag. He is leaning backwards a bit. Doesn't look as bad in person, only from one angle. Really happy with the OSL and the blending/layering on the helmet.

To give you an idea of how I layer it up here is a pic if the base coat before any washes or layers. The green armor is not washed, just highlighted from a dark base. Makes for a much smoother transition.

And now for the proper finished model.

Just look at that OSL!

A lean back!

Face macro.

Absolutely disgusting and I mean that as a compliment! This thread makes me want to brek out some flamer units and "purge the unclean".

I love what you did on the oblits visor and plasma cannon to make it look like its glowing, it does the effect nicely and looks superb! what is that technique called?

It's called object source lighting, OSL for short. I had originally done the eyes with a brush but turned it up a bit when I used an airbrush for the plasma cannon. After that I go back over it and rehilight with light blue and white.

Thanks. It was originally the assault cannon terminator from dark vengeance. A chaos knight head, trygon tail for the back, dreadnought claws for fingers, a ton of guns, some bass string and green stuff and you can have one too!

Vacation - Day 5:

Zombie Champion done. Hey, it's a 14 point model technically and it only took 4 hours. I need help.

Papa Nurgle blessed him with a maggot spawning arm!

11ish hours and the biker champ is done. Way to much work, but I think there are lots of corners I could cut. Pretty happy with the result nonetheless.

Cool looking miniatures. The blood is a bit over the top for me but the rust is fantastic.
