The manager asks one of the young lads about his army, he tells him it's based around BA and IG. The manager asks why. He tells him he runs big guard groups and attaches sanguinary priests (I think?) to them to give them FNP and ATSKNF.
The store manager then tells him in no uncertain terms that he should disallow it in his store because the kid isn't playing "in the spirit of the game, and this sort of crap was never intended to happen anyway but people always try and take the piss. I personally know the games designers in Nottingham and go out drinking with ~(insert GW people here)- all the time and they hate this sort of thing." and had a mini rant at the poor kid for bringing his LEGAL army.
I was like
Quite nutty. Though as a side note I assume this was happening prior to Sanguinary's being FAQed to only give benefits to units taken from the BA codex?
Erm.. probably? It was quite a while ago, I don't play BA myself I'm afraid!

Matt Wards fluff, most of it doesn't;t make sense.
For TT - probably when I killed two Fire Warrior teams using single squad of Guardsmen - in melee.
Aww man, we almost made it a full page before someone said that.
And how is that strange? Fire Warriors can be slaughtered by newborn infants.
For me, the strangest, and probably funniest, thing that's ever happened to me was when I was playing against a friend, my Nurgle CSM v his Dark Eldar. For about four full turns, he was kiting me with his raiders as my Plague Marines chased him, but I kept making all my armor saves and FNP rolls and couldn't penetrate through his front armor. Someone watching pulled out his phone and started playing Yakkity Sax.

Tough Traitorous Guardsman

Was in London for vacation and visited a GW store there. While im figuring out what to buy I am listening in to a conversation between the store manager and some kid with his parents and this is what he said to them.
"Imperial guardsmen aspire and hope to one day prove them worthy enough to become Space Marines"
I was to shocked to say anything.

Jovial Plaguebearer of Nurgle

I was in my FLGS last week and the owner knows I have played daemons in the past and currently run them as allies so he says, "No daemons yet, but they should be arriving next month." Some other random person overhears this and responds, "Do you have some kind of sacrificial alter in the back? Are you working your way up to virgin sacrifices?"
(PS the owners statement is pure speculation based on rumors.)

5th edition I started playing nids and I playing my first game, against necrons, it was dawn of war and my 3 ravaners came in on the long board edge opposite of me, next turn they charged 20 necron warriors only to be killed in one turn and not even wound a single warrior

Someone in my GW was firing a multi-melta at Fateweaver, and asked "melta only effects vehicles, right?" I rolled my eyes and replied "No, they do 3D6 wounds to daemons!" To which the manager yelled "thier not grey knights!"
