Peryton wings have been adjusted.

Kraken base has been rounded.

The peryton's antlers are way too big :-/ but the kraken is cool, I think.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've received my rewards for this kickstarter. I didn't get too many items, so I'll just give my reactions on the few I got.

Greenknee: He is a characterful little goblin. His face is giving me Maximum Overdrive flashbacks, which is a good thing. The hands look a little soft on detail, but not "discontinued Bones" bad. Altogether, he looks great for a comedy or comic book-style goblin.

Mermaid: The detail on her fish-tail, hair and trident are impressive, but her face looks a bit like Commander Data (and not even the younger, sexier Lt. Commander Data). The trident has a high WSF, so avoid her if you hate floppy weapons. With a good painter (not me), she should come out looking like a fresh cup of Starbucks in the morning.

Peryton: This mini is about as floppy as Bones-Cthulhu's tentacles. Other than that, the detail looks great on the wings and tail. There's a lot of flash on the antlers.

Massive Tentacle: This thing is huge! Bigger than many marital aids! I mean massive! Even curled, it reaches talmost to the top of Bones-Cthulhu's head. $4 seems like a steal, which is probably why they no longer list it at that price. Since it's Bonesium (or whatever this PVC mix is called), it holds detail and texture while still being light and heat-adjustable. There is a pronounced mold line, but removing a mold line from a rounded Bonesium surface is not as daunting as, say, metal or restic.

Firebolg Skeleton: Honestly, this is my favorite of the bunch and the reason I pledged. The detail is crisp and deep enough for drybrushing or washes, although more fine on the armor. The sculpting is top notch, up with the best of the Bones minis. He seems to be a full head taller than my Bones Fire Giants, which means he will probably scale well next to the storm giant. The sword may need some boiling water to straighten, though.

It appears that Dungeon Crawler have changed their web store around so that they only sell minis in packs rather than individually. They also doubled their per-model prices for the natural minis. They are still cheaper than Bones, but I'm hoping to buy multiples of certain minis in the future and this change might put a stop to that.
