Haqq: Love pretty much all of the models... save for once the aforementioned Muttawi'ah Male.
Yu Jing: Love the Crane Rank Imperial Agent
Ariadna: Duroc/Margot
Nomads: Wildcats and Reverend Custodiers. Riot Girl with Spitfire is awesome too.
C.Army: Gotta agree about the Anathematic. Looks awesome
ALEPH: Chandra and Ajax
Tohaa: Gao-Raels
Mercs: Druze, Kaplan and McMurrough

Models I think could use some re-sculpting would be the Crocman from the Pan-O Starter, Haqqislam Muttawi'ah Male and I would love to see the Antipodes get a more..."beefy" sculpt.

I like to think sometimes it's just a smaller or taller person. Especially in a racially mixed force like Nomads for PanO. Think of a tall Norwegian next to a small Filipino.

That's an interesting point actually - I guess the important thing is that the miniatures are in proportion, in terms of them not having one massive legs or feet or something!

I can agree there. They should be in proportion to themselves at least. Not necessarily to others I feel. It's not like in this game too, that figs are so out of proportion that they don't get cover. Bit hard with the Noctifer on the stairs though...

This is how I justify the older sculpts. The older models are more burly people - maybe they spend some time hitting the weights? Maybe they're just naturally bigger? The newer sculpts are just smaller people. Personally, I'm 6'4". I have a friend who is about 5' nothing and built like a little girl. Put both of us in Jannisaire armour, and I'm going to look like the original AP Rifle or HMG guy, and my friend would look closer to the AP Rifle model in the starter.

You're not both considering cosplay are you Loki?

You're right though in the sense that pretty much the whole range looks fine on the tabletop with each other - even the old sculpts and the new. Not just Infinity, but it was something I noticed the other night with a friends Warhammer army which was mixing the old 'massive head' skeletons with the much smaller Mantic ones. When an effort is made to paint stuff up, the difference is a lot less obvious from a player's-eye level.

What?!?

The Anathematic rocks - and one of the best things about it is its name!

And yes, the Anathematic was the model that 'made' me start collecting the Combined Army...
