With the possible exception of the last one I doubt those are real posters, due to the very obvious use of somewhat shoddy cgi.

You hush your mouth about Hugh Jackman. Did you see when he lost the best actor oscar to Daniel Day-Lewis? The camera was on him when it was announced, and no hesitation, immediately a big smile and started clapping. The man is all class.

Plus, he was raised in Australia. That's like Earth's Catachan - he's gotta be hard just to have survived.

Eh......I enjoyed Wolverine origins.

I thought the rendition of Gambit was good, Sabretooth and the Blob. The deadpool zombie was probably the only thing I think they botched. I know that deadpool was a popular character and I think that's why people hate on the movie.

The poster is funny. We have Wolverine and a lot of badly photoshopped Ninja's copypasta'd all over the place!

Quality!

I liked Origins. I liked all the characters in the movie. But then again I had no idea who deadpool was and so didn't see anything particularly messed up. I'm looking forward to this.

See I dont even factor in the Deadpool thing for why I REALLY disliked the movie. It was bad enough on its own merit, without the DeadPool thing. TBH, I only know who Deadpool is enough to point him out, thats it

I was skeptical, especially considering the naffness of the first one, but this looks rather awesome indeed.

Is this supposed to be set before or after the X-Men movies then? I was under the assumption that this was going to be set in time after he escaped from the Weapon X program but before he met the X-men. But what with all the modern tech and Jean Grey cameo it looks rather like a sequel rather than a preqel.

Long, long, long after X-men - the Jeanne Gray flashbacks mean it can't be a prequel. IIRC, the story is meant to be based on him after the X-Men, when everyone else is dead, and he's lived on due to his immortality. Basically - how does one cope with simply not being able to die.

edit - the start is hilarious for me, because the bit where he is walking up that deserted street is a town I used to live in., and still live near. That street is about 20 meters long and there's a dead end, no snowy mountain :( Also that hardware store right after it is a derelict building now.

I don't think it's set so far after X-Men that everyone else is dead.

Maybe not dead, but by the directors own words -

"Where this film sits in the universe of the films is after them all. Jean Grey is gone, most of the X-Men are disbanded or gone, so there’s a tremendous sense of isolation for him."

It's far enough in the future that, dead or disbanded, the X Men are no more.
