Here's a sort of lesson I learned from Assassins creed. If you need to get somewhere and there's people in your way, you lightly put your hand on them and kind of muscle your way past.
It's kind of a silly thing, but I swear I never remember doing that until after I played assassins creed. Maybe I had the dreaded hover hands syndrome.

1)Never trust attractive women. 2)To quote TF:Beast Wars "When expecting boody traps, send in a boob" The amount of people I snipered on BF2 (PC) who'd put c4 on a flag, then hid and blew up the first guy to get there..For me and my sniper rifle? It was like whack-a-mole. 3)Be evil. All the time. It's so much more fun. 4)Never ever mess with Kintaro. 5)Small things are fast, Big things are slow. 6)Clouds of small things are more lethal then 1 big monster. 7)People who glitch deserve to be hunted down and killed everytime they respawn. 8)Expect people to quit if you're winning 9)Never ever mess with Kintaro.

Things from every multiplayer FPS ever. (some are true in real life too)
Aggression and decisive action beats odds and positioning every time.
Sturgeon's law applies to player skill.
Poor communication kills, the team with more mics wins every time.
Force concentration beats area control, because the team that sticks together always beats the spread out team.
A kill is a kill, doesn't matter if it's merely a body shot.

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.” |

Your still bitter after that one scene aren't you? All you had to do mate was put down the controller and never play it again.... Ah here is another thing! If you put down the controller to a game its not quiting its an alternate ending! Your character doesn't die and is just left on as if the character walked away from the situation and left it up to a different person to pick it up. Or the retreated behind the stormwall and contacted for backup.

I don't even care if I've shot anything, I still tap the reload key every whenever out of habit.
Does it mean that 90% of the time, I'm tapping reload when I'm already fully loaded? Yes.
Does it mean that I ever find myself wishing I'd reloaded as stuff eats my corpse? Nope.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
