How about a Space Marine helmet belonging to some other Chapter that was taken as a trophy in a battle/skirmish? Have it maybe give a bonus to interacting with some group (maybe a Command/Intimidate boost) and a penalty with another (like the Chapter to whom the original owner was a member of). This also gives your GM a potential plot hook for bringing in said Chapter.

Another thing that comes to mind would be a spear, to fit in with the Minotaur aesthetic. It need not be a CCW either, it could just be a ceremonial spear or maybe even just a medallion or decoration that gives a small bonus to Weapon Skill. Call it a reward for excelling in tournaments/gladiatorial pits your Chapter does sometimes.

The Minotaurs just is that awesome, would be fun watching one of their number in the DW with a Marine from one of their descendents.

The squad leader is an Ultramarine, who has already warned the Dark Angels Chaplain (The only Marine whose physical might can rival mine's) to keep an eye on me.

Trust me I know what I'm doing when I'm claiming that you should have them discussing things, and add a guy from the Iron Hands just for fun. I will use this against you, as you must use this idea at the Dakka Fiction and I will be very irrational about it.

I would like to read it and for once actually bother with Space Marines in fluff if you wrote it down, and you have plenty of drama there, just add an Iron Hand for good measure.

I don't see why a Minotaur would be seconded to the Deathwatch at all, considering they are a very secretive Chapter that operates at the Chapter-level only (i.e. if they are coming after you, they are ALL coming after you), and only act on behest of the High Lords, usually to take out other Space Marines.

Well, they prefer to operate at the Chapter level, but that doesn't mean they always get to.

Two, serving in the Deathwatch is a mark of honor for both the Marine and his Chapter.

Three, there's a lot of alien threats out there. Maybe the HLoT told the Minotaur CM to send some guys to the DW, "like, yesterday."

Four, the DW offers a chance to score some pretty sweet bling from Xeno and archaeotech sources.
