I have had some time of late to work on the titan, got the waist done and the thighs most of the way there. Pics of the waist later, got the inner waist almost done just needs some cables and bitz to decorate it
you can also see on of the service lifts on the back of the thigh and the mount for the "thunder thigh" shield generator on the leg bands.

Umm. Not such a fan of rotary boob cannons, but I'll be interested to see the progress.

Would of loved to see vortex boob missiles instead

The chest cannons are interchangeable, so maybe i'll whip up a couple vortex missles at a later date

What started out as an iffy idea has quickly devolved into a ridiculously awful one.


But I still want to see how it finishes up. Rotary boob cannons are hilarious.

Dont listen to the nay sayers! This is fantastic, certainly very different from other titans.

This looks a little... big to be honest.
Ignoring everything else:
Warhound: 10" Tall
Reaver: 16" Tall
Warlord: 24" Tall
Emperor: 36" Tall

This looks like it's going to be about 4-5+ feet tall from the pictures.

Ah, size seems to be an issue I have with most people, I make everything just a bit bigger than most other people, you see my reaver titan is 23" this one is abou 4ft or so I once decided to try and fit 6 guys cofortably in to the head of a warlord scaled at 24" didn't work out well. that is when i decied to go withe scale where warlords are alot bigger. I ve got two other warlords beside this one(they don't merit a thread at this time, but maybe some time in the grim darkness of the far future) alll ar of comparable size to bull uk's fantastic beattleback warlord

As I get farther along in this project occurs to me that at this point I will need a color scheme. Unfortunately, I'm fresh out of ideas, so I will need some.

Over the weekend I came up with a red black and gold color scheme.
Nearly finished with the thighs, got the shield generators on, and a piece of drain pipe attached to serve as a frame for the lower leg armor, pistons, mechanics etc.

I'm VERY curious to see how this turns it. I want it to be awesome.

After try to fit my original pattern for the lower leg armor a round the drain pipe two things became very apparent, 1 that the drain pipe wasnt goin to work as a frame for the lower leg and 2 the pattern I was using was way to big and dramatic. So after much cutting and pasting, accidental cuts and hot glue burns, here is the result

Are you going to fix the angle that leg is bent? Because it looks like the titan is currently marching, rather than moving naturally.

Anyway I really like how the fleur du lis came out and im planning a skull w/ halo for the other side

I have now added the skull to the other leg, an iron halo will be added to that later.

Also at this point it became very apparent that the weight and angle of the titan caused it to be very unstable. A temporary fix was the forty pount weight sitting on the base
