Not liking the colors scheme at all. But there can be no denying the amazing skill that was needed to do it so well. Fantastic work!

This totally rules. I AM a fan of the unconventional color scheme. It really pops. The techniques used are practiced and well executed. This will be a fun thread to follow.

I really like the comic book look over ultra realism sometimes. This is great. Not a fan of purple marines though, but that's just personal pref.

although some have said that you've used to many colors for the detail, which is true, but i think they gel together extremely well, you've done an amazing job on those. Looks incredible. I really like the color scheme, its insane.

I had to keep changing the colours to make sure they complement each other, Took almost a month to get the colours to fit together!

I have to say that, initially, your paint style was a little jarring, but as I got down the thread, it really grew on me. It's bold, chunky and very in your face, which, I have to say, is a great combo. And your painting technique is awesome too, keep it up.

^ This, not boiling water but pretty damn close, dip it for a few seconds and then just flatten it out.

I guess I have to ask why is a "Dark Angel" wearing an Inquisition icon?

The paints look solid but very very busy.

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Pink DA..

How did you make pink DA look so fine? I love them!

EDIT: One thing, you should make a pink lighting effect or something for the hammer of the Watcher, it blends to much in with the rest of armor as it is now IMHO.

I am a big fan of your alternate color scheme. I like the early 90s paint style, i.e. vibrant color. Your blending is nice and the poses quite unique. Very well done.

Your technique is excellent. I'm going to echo lots of people and say that I'm not sure I like your color palette: it's all over the place.

Uhhhh......I absolutely love the techniques, and its just a personal opinion.....but the Lion have mercy on your soul for those colours

That said, lovely tehcnique!

For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

I love the colours! I have purple and green DA, some BOYS have no imagination when it comes to colours and anything not chapter specific gets under their skin. Do you have any tac marines or vehicles planned for this scheme.

I love the scheme, not at all what you would expect from DA and that's by no means a bad thing. The fact that you have executed it so well helps too! Are you using a black undercoat?

How do you do your blending? I really like your style and strive for a similar effect in my painting, but I'm not even half as successful as you.
