biker captain and command squad won't get done this month. didn't get as much prep and assembly done while traveling as I hoped, so I still have 3 bikers to clean and assemble and some conversion work to do. doubt I'll get paint on them this month.

Finished all my Dark Eldar vehicles! That's 3 Raiders, one Ravager, a Venom and a Razorwing Jetfighter. I originally vowed to finish my Jetbikes this month too. I got the bikes themselves done, but going to do the riders once I get around to doing my Wyches as I intend to do them a similar style. You can tell part of the mast with the sail control panel is missing on the Ravager. I lost the piece and couldn't find it, and unfortunately it was the last Raider type I did, so I couldn't steal it from the Raiders at that point. Oh well! This is my first time doing more complex models. Thoughts and opinions? Any recommendations on how to improve?

I've been busy with work, but today I am going to finish up the last two Kamodo/Chimeras and start on the Baneblade.

UPDATE June 28: Baneblade is done (not fully assembled, to make priming/painting easier)

So my lady got a surprise job offer half way across the country, so we packed up the car and went. Everything hobby is still at my parents house till I move it here end of July. So my end of month update:

1) Need to finish painting guns, weather them, and work on the bases.

2) I primed them!

Hopefully July will bring an end to the valkyrie project!

end-of-month update:

biker squad is coming along. I should have all prep and pre-assembly completed by the end of the month. just waiting for some greenstuff to dry so I can do some magnetizing work and then they'll be ready for primer.

I failed, failed like a Mrs USA contestant trying to give a speech, failed like a kardashian. Not sure if anyone can fail harder than that.

Got a couple of Clockwork Constructs done, not much else. just too much sunshine to make up for the longest winter on record.

My goal for the month is to paint up the interior of the Landraider Crusader on my desk, so that I can finish building it an begin on the exterior.

Also to finish my Last Chancers squad, I started them last month, got busy with overtime at work. (Something that might get in the way this month too)

If i get this far... theres tonnes of Ravenwing bikes for me to paint, and 50+ orks to build(deciding on conversions and customisation ideas at this point). ...We'l not talk about the other stuff in my queue for now ...its a fairly long list.

I promise to paint my first model.

I've been sculpting, drilling, pinning, GSing etc for the past few months since getting back into it but I've been too scared to paint because I know it'll suck. It's the only way I'm going to get better, but next week I'm going to begin painting my battle games in Middle Earth stuff before moving onto my 'crons.
