No way. My childhood made me the man I am, there's no point looking back now.

As well as sex, booze, and independence there's something else my adult life has over my childhood (though I appreciate some still suffer it) - *NO HOMEWORK*.
When I leave my place of work for the day, I leave it, dammit. It doesn't come home with me.

Independence has got to be the biggest thing for me though. I'm 28, and I've only lived away from home for 3 years - I would've moved out sooner if I'd felt I could afford it. Looking back now I *do* wish I'd taken the plunge a couple of years earlier, would've allowed for a few more wild nights before getting a bit too long in the tooth for it.

I felt a similar disappointment.

Particularly when combined!

To answer the question: No. I wouldn't like to return to childhood. I didn't particularly enjoy much of it, and I wouldn't trade my independence to get rid of my responsibilities.

Kidding aside, I was lucky to make it out of high school alive. Literally lucky. I dont think going through all that trauma again would help me and if I had to go back and do it again my number might come up for the Vietnam draft, so no thanks.

Noooooooooope.
Sucked way too much to ever want to go back to something like that. I'd be able to at least see some of it coming, but that's helped me become who I am.

Perhaps. I always aspired for the future and adulthood as a child giving myself little time to well be a child.
