Trying to have any kind of discussion with Hyena about crime and/or punishment is not worth anyone's effort.

I'm waiting for hotsauceman1 to come in and say how truly disgusting and awful this is: mostly because I want to agree with him! This is truly humanity at its worst.

There are quite a few things I'd put ahead of this in the long list of "truly humanity at its worst" items. It's messed up for sure, but hardly people behaving at their worst.

Really? Why don't we just kill all criminals then? Keeps them from reproducing, ensures that they can't ever repeat the same crime, and it does an even better job of culling the overpopulation?

I didn't mean to suggest that he should alleviate the overpopulation problem in very personal and sudden manner... (although that's certainly is one way!) Merely that if people are so concerned of overpopulation they should perhaps refrain from getting children themselves instead of suggesting forced sterilisations on others.

The way to stop overpopulation is to sterilize prisoners and asylum inmates...while shutting down orphanages. Allow reproduction by license only...with a huge penalty if broken.

And how much do facilities like prisons and asylums contribute to population growth? How will that work in the areas of your country, or indeed other countries, where the population is declining?
