Wow. What a massive scammer. He offered me 2 titans. Also 3 sideshow miniatures collectible models. (every time I posted a wanted thread he replied) I haven't heard from this user since makaleth purchased one of the titans

Clearly he just took the picture from someone elses sales thread and used it as his own.

yeah I searched google for the pictures he sent me of the titans but couldn't find anything. I asked him for pictures of the titans and he said yeah sure give him a minute he will just take some. I then asked for an image with his user name in. Funny enough all of a sudden he was not at home away in the office and he would take them in a few days. When he offered me the sideshow models. He tried to get me to pay via paypal gift and made something up about the money staying on hold in his paypal if I pay via goods due to there being a problem with his paypal.

In case it was overlooked, I'd just like to point out that the link Steventis shared has a post at the bottom calling SentientFrog a known scammer, less likely that he took someone else's photos and more likely that this is yet another of his alias's

He also has another ad thats a mirror of the one in the link, plus a dark eldar army that he said was traded off.

I think I've seen those Eldar before, at least twice.

LustrianLizard approached me offering to trade some of my IG for a Squiggoth.

I refused the trade because I won't ship to Australia and the deal ended. As a kindness, I bumped his thread.

I've been approached by 2 members of the community asking I had traded with them and I informed them of my actions.

EDIT: He PM'd me immediately after I updated my Swap Shop thread, does this correlate with anybody else who received PM's from this user?

Yep, it was exactly the same for me.

I thought it'd be an offer relating to what I was offering/seeking on my thread but it simply read "I have a phantom titan if you're interested". Fortunately, so it appears, I wasn't interested.

He offered me his Dark Angels dex for my Chaos dex. I didn't want to ship to Australia so nothing happened. Not a huge thing on my end but just letting people know he's approached more people. Glad I didn't take his offer by the look of things.

He tried to sell me a necron battleforce and an overlord. As I work for a small business i told him that and that I would pay after I got the stuff with an invoice. After that he quit immediately the trade with no reason and reported me to RiTides. I then reported him to the administrator. I was tempeted to say under every post HE IS A SCAMMER but I had already had problems with the moderators so I simply hoped for the truth to come out. Anyway i sent him nothing and got nothing. By the way I have studied law at the university, and for the italian laws he is passible of an administrative offense as he quit the trade with no excuse (not legal in some circumstances) i belive that he is also passible of a criminal offense of telematic fraud and burglary to the ones he stole something so if any of you has a daddy lawyer that knows common law and wants revenge from my not so humble opinion there is enough stuff to sue him. His penal paper won't be clear anymore and he would have major problems finding a job.

I purchased a wood elf wizard mini for him ($30) in exchange for some IG tank parts which have still "yet to ship"..

something tells me I'll be watching my grandchildren graduate before I see those parts...

it's just dumb though - now a bunch of folks have his real name and address because they shipped to him via GWs site.. Mod edit: And can inform the police so that they can take appropriate action.

LustrianLizard offered me 3 NoS Riptides for 3 painted Razorbacks - so immediately suspicious.

He couldn't provide verifiable feedback, wouldn't ship first, and said he couldn't ship to a third party because he couldn't afford 2x shipping - when I said I'd pay to have the items shipped from the 3rd party to me I never heard from him again.

I can't prove he intended to scam me, but that behavior is incredibly suspect.

I have PM'ed each of you asking for you to list out your personal contact information (Name, Address, Phone) and List of items lost as well as their value. This will likely be very helpful to pass on to the police, but only if you include your actual contact information, rather than your screen name!

Please respond via PM and this will hopefully dealt with with the authorities in very short order.

i was also in discussion to buy his phantom titan. Same song and dance, asked me to send him GW product instead of paypal since paypal holds the funds for up to 21 days. told him I would only send paypal funds, which he replied that that was fine but he wouldnt ship the titan till after the 21 day period once the funds cleared. Then this thread popped up. Whole thing smelled fishy from the start and am glad I never sent him any money

He told me to buy him a bunch of paints on GW which I did, it was about 70 dollars worth. It was for a bunch of bits and a dreadknight kit and stormraven kit. I have all the PMs I can provide as well as a screenshot of the order on GW with his account and shipping address.

Sob!! I knew it was way too good to be true. I just issued a trade with him. He was going to give me a bunch of forgewolrd chaos dwarf stuff for a wraithknight, reapers, some new on sprrue WoC stuff and ither eldar models....I just out my stuff a few days back, maybe I can get it all back or cancel the shipment or something. He gave me the same tracking number everyone else was given :(

Yea I came looking through the forums to make sure he wasn't on the scam list. I've been in correspondence with him for 3 days about shipping two Eldar titans. He offered me a revenant for a "Box of Termies and a Death Company Dreadnaught". Then his trade threads started getting locked. Once he started communicating fishy, using that tracking number, and giving me his GW account info in order to access his wish list, I had to make sure he had legit feedback. Obviously that is not the case. He showed me these pics of the Titans:

Haven't had a run in with this guy, but I believe both those photos are used by eBay seller BDST and AlexPrintPoster. Both are recasters from Russia who have several stock photo's like this. (They're not scammers, but they are recasts.)
Odds are he snagged the images off their eBay accounts.

He offered me 1 titan, both these pics was meant to be one in return for a portion of my eldar army. So glad i decided not to go with him.

Well count me in on this one looks like he screwed me too I knew it was too good to be true I shouldn't have gone for the deal.

I just sent my stuff is there a way to stop a shipment with the USPS.

I don't know...maybe find the # for the postal office where you sent it to, call them, and tell them to intercept it after explaining the situation?

You could direct them to the local police too. Worth a shot, I suppose.

Hahaha that is my new SW army I traded for. Just traded my chaos for those bad boys. User I traded with is definitely not that scammer. Sweet army now to find someone to match this level of painting in my area.
