With all the orders coming in from the sale I had a few delays in getting them relisted. The shields are now back up on the site.

(examples of the actual casts are shown on the previous page)

Additionally I'm looking at having a sprue of weapons made in injection molded plastic. If all goes well it may eventually open the door to doing the mecha front models in plastic.

Currenty I need to determine which of my 54mm mecha parts I should put on the sprue. Right now the top choices are the heads and missile launchers.

I'm expecting to be able to fit about 6-8 pieces on the sprue, so what other offerings would you like to see included on the sprue?

Just a heads up that the sale ends in one week, so if you have any orders to place make sure to get them in soon.

Would any of your bigger rifely/HMGish things scale ok with Infinity TAGs?

I'd say the mech rifles and pistols fit pretty closely.

When I pick up my Anaconda I think I'd like it to have a gun instead of a sword, I also have some ideas for a 'mech yard' once I get working on terrain.

I'm running a Christmas sale, enter the word Christmas in the discount code box and it'll take 20% off your order.

The computer I normally use for work got trashed by a virus and I need to get a new one. The sale will run until I get enough funds to replace it. I expect the sale to be running for the next 2-3 weeks, but it might end sooner depending on the number of orders. Fortunately none of the Mecha Front files got damaged and I was able to move those to a back up disk.

Likely at the end of Dec for those. Time is always tight with me at this time of year, getting bombarded with family always throws a massive disruption in my work flow.

While my 3d stuff was safe I did lose my photoshop software which puts a big dent in my ability to do any image editing or new stat cards for a bit. This leaves me seriously unhappy as I *LOVE* using photoshop. It's also a wickedly expensive program to replace. :( Really bad timing since it hit right at the beginning of the holiday bills.

If you've got the codes surely you can just download it again (unless you've switched OS ?)

I don't think so, Orlando- my wife has a copy of Photoshop that works on an older PC, but we can't get it installed on any new ones. I don't know what the reason is (we have all the packaging complete with codes, etc), but assuming it wasn't the latest version it's very possible it's not recoverable.

I had a pair of older versions (photoshop 5&6) which I'd gotten as student versions, so it can't be reactivated. Adobe only offers the most current versions for their student programs and in order to get a new key I'd need to be enrolled in classes somewhere. The computer was old which is why I kept it strictly for doing work related stuff like printing labels, email or whatever I needed for my website. In order to get the virus off I had to run a full system restore which set it back to 2006 specs and it operates until you try and go online or update anything.

Since it's on XP and IE6 it's so old that even the official microsoft update pages make it crash. Assuming I can even get it to quit crashing it'll need 7-8 years worth of updates and re-installing every program as very few of them will work in the current state. While it had been working prior to this weekend it was slow as heck and was well-overdue for replacement. For all that work it'll be easier to get something new as I need it anyway.

For quite a few of the programs I can't find the original disks for as I've moved several times and stuff has gotten lost in the shuffle.

You'd have to re-learn a lot of commands, but The Gimp is open source (read: free) and a decent alternative.

Paulson Games,

You should update the front page of our site. The first thing it says (after the thing about slow shipping) is that Mecha Front items are available... (and the first image you see is Mecha Front). While they looks great, your shopping pages for all of those items say that they aren't available.

Perhaps you could direct people to items that are available. Just a thought.

Paulson Games wrote:A concept I was toying around with. Has inspiration elements from Shoji Kawamori's art (macross/gundam) and XCom's Mectoid. If I make a model for it'd be sized around 55-60mm so it'd be roughly on par with Infinity TAG suits. Working name for these would be R.O.I. Remote Operated Infantry "Roys" for slang.

Still on the fence with the design so I thought I'd toss it out there and see what you guys think.

Personally, I like the concept very much and could use a few of those.

Hoping that those might scale well with a certain other company, and your current products in that area. If so, I'd definitely like a few. I took advantage of one of your sales to try out your products, and was very pleased.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still refining the design a bit and if/when I have it made it'll likely be a little while before it's completed.

Several new items are headed to the printer come Thursday, so I should have some new inventory coming in by end of the month.

The Paulson Games website will be closing on Jan 25th. This will be permanent.

If you have any purchases you want to make be sure to get them in before the 25th. Mecha Front items will remain available on www.MechaFront.com which should be active sometime later today.

I'm closing the Paulson Games website as I wish to focus my business solely on the production of Mecha Front items. I appreciate all the support you guys have shown for my past products and I look forward to supplying you guys with some outstanding Mecha Front items in the coming year.

The main factor in this decision is that I re-enrolled in college and I won't have the time and resources to keep up with the production work for my bits line. What work I do plan on doing will be focused on the Mecha Front models and rules.
