Beautifully done. The fade from the top of the armor to bottom is gorgeous.
My only complaint: why are some of the barrels drilled/painted and others are not?

@zeke, haha sorry the barrels got drilled after photos, I have a tendency to not do them til the end and forget about them until after photos.... I have no idea why!!
@ragequit, yup alll freehand, everything we do is freehand, never transfers!
@cutthroat, we did a few tanks for the deathwing portion of the DA army...

Everything about these is wonderful, you're bloody good and I especially love the purple power weapons and muted greens, looks fabulous.
Any plans to add heavy armour to the greenwing?

These are awesome, I don't really like the Dark Angels paint scheme normally but this one is really cool its got a nice dull green thats different just makes it look really good.
I really like the librarian from Dark Vengeance inspiring me to repaint mine haha

We have a Black templar GW style up next but nicer colours, and a Ravenwing army after that!
I hope you will be as excited about those as you have been with this one!!

Its really straight forward, place the colours as you see them (black, then blue in middle, then white in brightest spot) then do a wash/glaze of the blueish colour on surrounding areas you want the "glow" to hit.

They will do Lion proud... in fact, Lion El is on tap to be sculpted and painted to display standard ...
We did the Deathwing, Infantry(almost whole company) and will have Ravenwing next, along with 3 more display standard sculpt and paints on top of the one we are doing currently!!!
