Why is it every time GW does something in a Codex that people don't like, those people insist it's an oversight and will be FAQ'ed? Inquisitors haven't had access to an invul. outside of TDA in a good while now, so why are you so surprised?

Because it doesn't make any fething sense (of course that doesn't mean they'll actually errata it.)

Why doesn't it make any sense? When's the last time they could get one?

They just need to FAQ in an invulnerable save option for the Inquisitors. Gross oversight.

Because it doesn't make sense for lowly IG commanders to be carrying refractor fields and the priests that work for the inquisitor to be carrying 4+ saves, and the Inquisitor only having the t-shirt on his back.

They always had access to the best wargear (they can get conversion beamers and one-of-a-kind alien tech, but a simple refractor field is out of the budget?). They only lost their invulnerable save when the Inquisition as a whole took a back seat by being cut out of the Sororitas entirely and rolled back to an afterthought in Codex Grey Knights.

Exactly, and yet nobody complained when GK came out and they no longer had invuls., yet all of a sudden now it's a problem despite being nothing new. We've lived with it for 3yrs now, and you know what, we've gotten on just fine.

I think he is just talking about the invul thing, i did complain about it although not online.

It probably got buried under the anti-gk threads.

Nobody used inuqisitors back then because in 5th paying 200 for your 2W hq librarian was normal. Not even talking about draigo here

On the contrary pretty much every GK competitive list in 5th ed. had Coteaz.

Yea, coteaz feels like such a no brainer in any imperial list. Whats that BB level 2 divination and 3 scoring units for 136 points? Yes Please

Only way it could get more mandatory is if he could go in a bastion with one of my units.

If it was really meant to test off the unit, that 7 wouldn't really make any sense.

But RAW I think the test would be on the unit.

Makes a huge difference, of course, but I'm not holding my breath for a FAQ soon ... :-/
I don't have Codex: Inquisition yet, but here's how it reads in Codex: Adepta Sororitas.

Sisters of Battle wrote:War Hymns: A model with this special rule can take a Leadership test at the beginning of each Fight sub-phase in which he is locked in combat. If the test is successful, choose one of the following war hymns to immediately take effect.
If the language is anything like that in the Inquisition codex, it seems like a pretty conclusive case for the model making the test, rather than the unit as a whole.
You all need t reread page seven. The bullets under leadership tests all mention single models taking a ld test, but the last bullet says that if there is a model in the same unit with a higher leadership, they can use that. There's a thread in ydmc if you want to read up.
