Although this pretty much embodies that very human desire to seem unique I do feel i have a strange talent for observation/am perceptive. Maybe 'strong Instincts' is a better term for it.

I seem to have a close link to my subconscious. If i guess something like say the time or the quantity of something i will usually be pretty accurate. I also notice those strange little things that comics make a living from with observational humour.

Although i am only slightly above average at drawing, my proportion is near spot on for humans and animals. I am also pretty good at recognizing handwriting and indeed can even attribute something as simple as a tick or a circled word to someone.

When it comes to music i am useless at recalling actual lyrics but the melodies stick with me after only one listen. It can be a boon as a lot of the music i now love is stuff i didn't like on first listen, it's only when i recalled certain parts that i thought to give them another listen. I can also hum/quietly sing most songs with near perfect pitch and timing. There is a limit of course as i am by no means a great singer.

I have little to no affinity for musical instruments themselves though.

It does extend to social interaction to some extent so i am not particularly awkward socially.

I'm left handed, have a strange knowledge of useless facts and random tidbits of trivia (I'm pretty decent at Trivial Pursuit), and I can tell the time using the sun (without a watch, sun dial, etc...). Most of the time I'm pretty accurate within 15 minutes, if not closer.

I'm an excellent public speaker and I have the Saruman-like ability to easily convince others to do what I want them to. My coworkers say that I could talk the Devil into lighting himself on fire.


And I get the impression that I'm pretty good in bed.

While I was in university I had a talent for trolling my friends by only studying a few hours before an exam (they studied for a few days) and still getting higher grades trololo.

Other than that I'm pretty good at planning and taking into account the finer details.

I also pretty good at returning to a thread adding nothing then leaving again.

I am pretty good at looking like I am a lazy fether at work who doesn't do anything simply because I get my crap done and then I chill.

I make a pretty wicked pancake, so i got that going for me.

i'm pretty good at using the minimal energy at work to get stuff done and still get good reviews from my supervisor

i apparently have a near mystical bartender like ability to get people to talk, based on how people just seem to spill details in even casual conversations (an example being when i was on break at a job, and within 10 or 15 minutes of talking to someone, i had learned an extensive medical history, political and religious inclinations, and how old they were when they lost their virginity)

I've always had something of a flair for writing poetry, and for writing without planning (essays and prose).

I work pretty fast when learning/revising, usually finishing tasks faster than my classmates. I tend to retain information (most of it useless) better than most. I know some of my friend's codexes better than they do having only seen them a couple of times.

I'm also not bad on guitar. I'm terrible at composing music of any kind, but I have something of a knack for learning a riff or tune just by listening to it.

That said, I have no practical skills, whether it's sport, electrics, cooking or mechanics, I can do theory but I'm not great on actually doing stuff.

Oh, left a couple things off my list.

- I play a guitar in a bad that's big in both Chelsea and France
- I can bench-press a car
- I used to play football
- graduated from both Harvard and Yale
- I designed the Sears Tower
- I can make an award winning duck flame

I can calculate real fast.

Not sure which skill is more useful though...

I'm good at reading very fast, and actually taking it in. I also have good general knowledge - or at least, good memory for surprisingly-useful-useless information.

Pretty handy with a pencil and paper too, as long as I get my muse on.

I have a very good sense of smell inherited from my father, this has it downsides I hate strong perfume (strangely I much prefer body odour ) and sometimes I wish large ladies would not wear short skirts in summer.

I'm pretty good at filling any container to a level surface.

I mimic peoples laughter without trying.

Worst ability ever.

I can cook pretty well - I'm really good at gluten-free baked goods and pizzas, and I've been told my French Onion Soup is killer (the key rule is: if in doubt, add more wine).

I'm a fairly decent miniature painter. People seem to think I can imitate Angel Giraldez's style pretty well, so I get commissioned to paint models in his style quite a bit.

Apparently I can be really charming in social situations. Or this is what I've been told. I always feel like I'm coming off as an awkward, socially-incompetent idiot, and so I get hyper-conscious of everything that I could possibly be doing wrong.
