OK I was watching Star Trek and was wondering who would win in a knock down fight James Kirk or Jean-luc Picard? (I am a fan of both by the way!) I am leaning more towards Kirk because Picard relies on Earl Grey Tea alot while Kirk uses whatever is lying around (i.e. green women, Vulcans etc.) Just say who and why.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Kirk easily. Picard would break a hip.

Borg Picard vs Kirk is much more interesting.

My vote would naturally go for Bond.

However, I do have to be fair and take issue with the 'Bond always wins' - people who say that have obviously never seen On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Or even Skyfall, for that matter...

Maybe I missed something in the three Bourne films, but I don't recall any of Bourne really losing.

Well, Bond's wife was killed in one movie and in another his 'love' betrayed him (to save him) and then committed suicide. His mental status has been questioned several times as well.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Kirk...DUH!!!
Kirk has never ever ever lost a fight one on one. This includes Klingons, Romulans, supernormal humans that Spcok can't even take out with massive phaser fire, even HIMSELF. Even Kirk can't beat Kirk!

Picard, meh, great in negotiation and good in a ship fight, but he can get his ass kicked by a mildly angry Smurf.

Kirk for Federation President. America er Federation HURR!!

Neither. Bourne has never lost. Bond has lost, but he's epic cool.

Picard uses tommy guns and doesn't shy away from his baldness. That is a true badass. He'd whoop on Kirk without breaking much of a sweat.

I think the real what if is: Wesley Crusher or a Tribble?

Kirk. Because when he was young he was at least sorta fit. Picard is a passive aggressive old man who can't even defeat anyone with Borg implants.

So are these Bourne movies pretty good? I've never seen them.

I didn't much care for the Bond movies, if that assists with the answer. Although I've only seen the 1989 one with Timothy Dalton. So more accurately I didn't care for a bond movie, singular.

Yeah, that's not the best representation of Bond see From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Dr. No, Casino Royle and Skyfall for a more accurate picture.

In saying that, the Timothy Dalton Bond was basically the Daniel Craig style Bond before the Daniel Craig style Bond was cool.

No, I have Casino Royale, it is the last one. Oh, you said the newest! Well to be fair in that one he is playing Poker and not Bacarat.

Bond. Even if Bourne killed Bond he'd end up in a maximum security prison under a life sentence for murder. If it were the other way around, Bond would just whip out his Licence to Kill, or MI6 bail him out.

Wrathful Warlord Titan Commander

Ramsden Heath, Essex

Scene:

Two men grapple atop a cliff. Blows are traded, blocked then landed. Blood is shed but neither combatant has the upper hand.

Then one slips on the scree dodging an incoming blow, seemingly defeated he collapses to the ground. The victor walks nimbly to the Walther PPK by the cliff edge. Instinctively his training takes over (when was he trained? why?) and he turns to execute the other man.

"One last Lucky Strike?" The man on the floor reaches into the dishevelled Dinner jacket for the silver cigarette case. He places the filterless cigarette to his lips and savours his last drag. "You?" As he proffers the case a discrete flick of a switch sends a stream of gas into the gunmans face. Disorientated the gunman stumbles and falls over the cliff to his death.

"One Bourne every minutes."

Bond smiles and walks away to the nearest Gin Palace.

BADDABOOM

BADDADDADA.....

In Heaven God exploding fist bumps the Queen Mother as they settle down to another ripsnorting Bond film.
