I stopped watching 1/2 way through season 2, and only would watch a few minutes if 7 of D-Cups had some screen time. What was the Threshold episode?

Its the one where Tom Paris tries to break the Transwarp Threshold, does so, mutats over the episode into some crazy fish salamander thing, kidnaps Janeway, turns her into a fish salamander thing, goes to another planet where they literally are walking fish salamander things and have some babies. The thing I remember most is the sort of nonchalant way Janeway handled being kidnapped, turned into a fish salamander, and then getting knocked up by fish salamander Paris and having some babies.

So bad...

Shadows of the Empire was a decent book.

If my memory from 6th grade (16 yrs ago), it was a pretty good movie too. FAOShwartz was playing it in Chicago back then when I stopped in for my dad's graduation from doctoral college.

?

There was a book, soundtrack, comic, video game and trailer(made from footage from Return and Empire).

They literally can't make the Zahn books cannon at this point. They were pretty solidly contradicted by the prequel trilogy. At least major elements were.

Either way I don't read anything EU anymore. I'm pretty sure the prequel's killed Star Wars for me outside of video games being a jedi

Shadow of the Empire was a sort of sequel/prequel to Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedu released in 1996. It was kind of an exploration into the franchising ability of the Star Wars franchise (including books, movies, music etc) by Lucas Film to secure funding for more projects, including the prequel series of films that came a few years later.

Well, I saw at least 10 minutes of Dash Rendar being awesome, and most trailers don't last that long. I also found the movie for sale on eBay. Once...

List of things Boba Fett has done in Official Canon:

1. Make a deal with Vader to capture Han. Couldn't do it himself.
2. Get money from Jabba.
3. Get knocked into a Sarlacc by a guy who couldn't even see straight.

4. Get turned into a whiny little brat in Clone Wars.

Oh yeah, frellin Jack Bower right there.

Fun fact: Clone Wars is official canon already!

Can I tell you how much I enjoyed all the tears when they did the Mandalorian arc, and all the fanboys cried and gnashed teeth at GL "destroying Karen Travis's work".

Funnily enough, because it was Lucas's brain child, the Star Wars Holiday Special would be considered canon as well!

Lets hope they can purge that stupid lore about the 44km ships that look like as if someone needed an argument in a starwars vs battle.

Read my second post on page 1. I took nothing but joy from Tavis' childish temper tantrum of "screw you guys I'm going home" and tears of her fans were just icing.

"What's that Ms. Travis, George Lucas messed up what you were writing? Hey Tim. Lucas messed up what she was writing."

"What goes around comes around Karen!"

Of course, now she's busying ruining everything Eric Nylund did in Halo, so its kind of a phyrric victory.

I must admit, the Boba stuff was just about the only bit of Clone Wars I'm not a fan of (although the one with Ventriss in series 4 was pretty good).

The Mandalorian/Deathwatch arcs were awesome, the Darth Maul resurrection started off dodgy but got amazing very quickly. And some of the other arcs, especailly in series 4/5 were great (the Krell saga and the Ashoka murder trial stand out).

Ventriss is honestly the only thing I sort of liked in that series (barring that I hated how they mangled the Night Sisters completely, seemingly just to shoe horn them in for... some... reason). EDIT: Well I liked it ignoring that the original story arc for her character in the comics is 1000% better and why they changed it I'll never know.

Yeah, the night sisters stuff was a bit dodgy (wood elves and zombie wood elves in spaaaace). Ventriss was a good character, though.

What was it you didn't like about the rest of it? Was it the style, or something else?

Admittedly missed that post, but I agree 1,000,000,000% with everything here. I basically ignore anything she writes about anything.

The events are similar to the comic roughly (a fall from favor in Dooku's eyes namely) but Asajj kind of just distanced herself from the war and the force entirely, coming to the decision that it had brought her nothing but harm. The the end of her character arc final time we see her in the comics was a really somber and fulfilling experience that in part highlighted the futility of the endless war between the Sith and Jedi while highlighting the hypocrisy of both.

Mostly I get annoyed just because I liked the comics better and read them first so when Clone Wars began messing with the formula with shoddy story telling that was childish even by Star Wars standards, I got annoyed. They kind of redeemed it for me later in the last season, but I don't think it was as good as the original tale. I mean we didn't even get a hint of the 'corruption of the Jedi' plot thread that permeates a lot of EU material in the Clone Wars era until the very end of the series. What was up with that?

Boba isn't dead.

He's getting a stand-alone movie (they will be releasing stand-alones in between the trilogy films, so to maintain the one movie per year spacing. It doesn't take more than about 11months from start of production to release if they already have shared infrastructure in place - as da mouse house probably will.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
