Great sculpts, but come on, stop doing those [MOD EDIT - No swear filter workarounds, please. - Alpharius] poses where you got one leg standing on something. Especially a stupid pose like this. One leg on a stone and swinging a big weapon.

These look like updated Ultraforge models. I really love the models - the old Ultraforge dragon was a beautiful sculpt. My wallet is going to scream at me come Feb ...

This reminds me a lot of ultraforge, particularly the dragons... which are AMAZING.

Some nice looking models on their site, just a shame that they're all stood on massive rocks that dwarf the human sized figure in the comparison image. Not overly sold on the wings for Morbat, but that might be the angle / zoom on the pictures.

Some of them remind me of the old RT era GD figures, just bigger and better quality.

To be fair, you could just remove the rock... most of them look like they might fit onto a base anyway.

Well they are definatly inspired by the Rogue Trader era Greater Deamons.

And this ladies and Gents, is what happens when you make accurate anatomic studies( unlike gw space marines).

Its a shame that i stopped playing Daemons because of their awefull codex, i would gladly have bought that "Bloodthirster".

Now maybe for an Angron model, or if the price and size is right as Anngorath.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

OK I honestly can't tell, are those renders of a 3D model, hand sculpted in GS, or hand sculpted in green FIMO? The detail is astonishing, to the point I'm feeling willing to overlook my normally burning hatred of sockpuppetry and "viral marketing" to get one of those not-LoC.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Text for the not-LoC says that the images are of a render. Whilst I've not checked the rest I'd imagine that they're all the same, given the similar appearance of the material in the images.

From the scales they show they seem to be a bit too big for 40K. They seem to be in the size of FW Greater Daemons, would have loved some around 4" tall rather than 6".

Also very glad to see he's back that daemon prince from the shell of a company that's got the ultraforge name still was horrendous.

Can very much see february being an expensive month looking at those renders.

It's almost definitely not GW the pic on the bottom right of the demon with the crab claws is a d&d monster called a glabrezu that I've seen manufactured previously by both wotc and reaper minis. However, that is one seriously awesome sculpt that I'd want to paint regardless of the publisher!

Both the Keeper of Secrets and the Bloodthirster were based on D&D demons...

Which ones? I know the Lord of Change is based on Demon Type I/Vrock. The Bloodthirster always seemed like an updated version of their "Balgorg", which had an obvious inspiration of it's own...

Man I have most of the ultraforge stuff.. I'm definitely picking this up. I love his the crab claw demon as I feel that's a much better vision of a keeper of secrets.

Need more non-GW greater demons!

They're renders... but with how good software is getting at making renders look realistic, and with more and more companies rendering models complete with bases, it's certainly hard to tell at first glance.
