Alright folks! A month into this year already!

This might be a crunch month for some... ONLY 28 DAYS!

So what do you have in mind for this month hobby-wise? Got a certain model to complete? A unit? AN ARMY?! Maybe you want to get practice at a new technique.

Let us know!

Here's what I'm going to try for this month:

Terminator Captain with Storm Shield and Thunderhammer
Terminator Assault Squad all with Storm Shields and Thunderhammers
Mortan (Godslayer) Starter
Some sort of Cygnar Models - I'm switching from the Khador to Cygnar.
Maybe get more practice doing eyes whether they are on bare faces or helmeted ones.

Well I got done some termies built and primed but they weren't the assault type.
Mortan Starter was able to get done.
Got built and primed 50pts of Cygnar.
I still suck at doing 'eyes'

How did your month go?

(I'll have next month's thread up later today... possibly tomorrow).

busy (and short) month for me, so modest goals:

1. finish assembling and paint the 5-man LotD squad I'm already working on (3 of 5 assembled)
2. start assembly/magnetizing work on stormtalon

stretch goal: start painting stormtalon
got the LotD finished just in time for a game last week and started on the stormtalon. weapons are all magnetized and I've started on assembly.

Finish DA DV Tac Squad #2 for my 500 point starter army
3 marines - white primed w/ heavy thinned paint for natural highlights
3 marines - army painter colored primer green with PolyShade Dip Shade
3 marines - primed black w/ zienital highlighting using airbush
1 sergeant - probably airbrushed

Stretch Goals:
Start on Rhino for Squad #2 (pristine finish with that "just out the manufactorium" smell)

All 9 tac marines done except for decals and plasma OSL. I skipped out of the various "methods" and just primed black, airbrushed zenital shaded, and airbrush base coated for the sake of just getting them done.
The sergeant has base armor coat and black details done. He'll be alot more "done" tonight. <cram!>

Stretch Goal: I did start on the rhino, cleaned up some misc mold lines and glue seepage areas. Also removed the smoke launchers for relocation and separate painting.

1500 Dark Angels( 9 - 4 - 0 )

Little late to the game, but better than nothing! I have actually found myself working on models again since I moved at the end of Christmas.

My goal for February is to finish cleaning/assembly of the 4 factions of Deadzone. Painting can come later (see: when I can afford paint)

I have the Rebs done, working on Marauders. These aren't going to be perfect beautiful models. The main mold lines are cleaned up and they will be quickly painted hopefully. I want a game I can play quickly, not one in 3 years when I finally paint it.

If I find time, I also will work on cleaning up my lab at work so I can airbush my Black Templars. Got a new airbrush and a bottle of minitaire raven black. Everything model wise is ready to be primed otherwise.

All I have left to do with deadzone is to get some hot water to bend pieces to make things fit. I really impressed myself with my dedication this month.

A squad of 6 Deathwing Terminators this month (odd number I know, but it fits my 1K list).

Stretch goals:
Complete squad of 10 Tactical Marines (made some progress on these last month)
7 more Deathwing Terminators (at least basecoat and armour highlights)
Prime, basecoat and armour highlights on a squad of 10 Tactical Marines
Basecoat and armour highlights on an already primed squad of 10 Tactical Marines

Big goals I know, but the basecoat and highlights are all airbrushed, so I figure it's more efficient to do these in bulk.

Big goals + airbrush woes = big fail!

Main goal is around 70% done with armour complete and most of the base colours laid down.

Stretch goals was a little better with terminators basecoated and highlighted. Both squads of marines are basecoated but not highlighted. This really killed my time this month with massive clogging problems with the airbrush. More experimentation needed with thinning mixes...

Is no fun, is no Blinsky!

So far this month I'm starting AoBR Space Marine squad. My birthday is at the beginning of April so I'm trying to get the models that I already have painted.

I've got a SGT Telion on the way
