The Weapon Emplacement can indeed be destroyed. It has a stat-line and can be shot or attacked in CC as if it were a unit (away from references, so can't give a page number: check the index for Weapon Emplacements).

Weapon emplacements counts has Immobile models with T7 and 2Wounds iirc.

Also the bit about Nids destroying Drakes like papper is pure gak.

Saw a 2 Drake player, destroying a Flying Nid circus, with 2 Crones and 2 Flyrants.

never underestimate a 5++ save, also don't forget that vector Strikes, always hits on the flank armor, so the only way a Flynid will hit the rear of your Drake is by beeing behind it and shooting at it, wich the Harpy can't do, because its heavy venom cannons are Blast weapons.

So that leaves the Flyrant and the Crone to care about.

An alternative to the ADL would be 2 Vengeance battery turrets, one with TLAC or Icarius cannon, and one with Punisher cannon, 20 S5 SHots, even if it doesn't have Skyfire, you will score a few 6's, and its only cost 75pts per turret, and they both take only one Fortification slot.

Not quite.

They are not models, as all models have a unit type.

They are terrain. The rest is correct.
