It takes an adult attitude to say that.

I cannot agree with that, the current Devastator and Vindicator kits are both excellent, but we have only had a decent Vindicator model for a short time. Even up until a few years ago you either hd to have a Forgeworld kit or an 80's Rhino with metal bits..

Umm...wot? I have been playing 40k since 2004 and the Vindicator kit has been around since at least 2005, i.e. almost a decade.

The 66% overheating is not correct with 4 plasma cannons.

48.2% chance of 0 gets hot
38.6% chance of 1 gets hot
3.9% chance of 2 gets hot
1.5% chance of 3 gets hot
0.1% chance of 4 gets hot

*edit*
WIth prescience the chances of 0 gets hot jumps to 79.6%

I have no idea where you are getting these numbers from. Can you elaborate?

When a Plasma Cannon fires, it has 16.66% chance of a Gets Hot.

If you have 2 guys firing, the chance of *at least* one of them getting a Gets Hot rises to 33.33% since you have 2 guys. Double the guys, double the chance of the bad s#it happening.

Think of it this way: if 1 guy firing a gun has a 10% chance of it jamming, then 10 guys firing will result in 1 guy jamming guaranteed (10% * 10 = 100%)

Thus, 4 PCs firing means 16.66% * 4 = 66.66% of at least 1 PC overheating.

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.

Released in 2007. Yes it's seven years ago, but many players have SM armies way older than that. The old school Vindicator is still fairly common, as it was around for about fifteen years. As is the Forgeworld kit most who could afford it took once the Rhino was replaced.

I am not against you though. I love the Vindicator for its looks and it's play. I also dont want to replace it because the old schol Rhino, crap as it was made an excellent Vindie when modelled right, the other options were far harder to redeem. IMHO the old Vindicator was best described as a green stuff kit, held together with bits of metal and plastic.
