Yeah, most people guessed that about Penny, especially with the whole Pinocchio shtick she has going on.

I thought the fact that her back opened up to show a bunch of swords was a dead give away, but I figured she was only half so, instead of full on.

Weiss having daddy issues is a something that I never really thought about, but it makes sense; most rich people do.

Another new episode. This Season is really benefiting from episodes that go longer than 5 minutes.

A nice fight that really shows Team RWBY working together, with lots of different combo moves and whatnot. Plus we finally see Neptune's weapon (energy rifle/trident), and we have final final confirmation that Penny is a robot (but one with an Aura), and we see some more of Sun and Yang Semblance (apparently attacking Yang only pisses her off and makes her stronger).

Best bit was Neptune's "Ladies!" and complete rejection by the Malachite twins, but there were some good subtle jokes like how Ruby had nailed the dumpster shut after encountering a rat.

And a bit robot fight, and a new character, Neo the two-tone girl (Neapolitan ice cream?).

"They're okay right?"

"Probably."



Neptune's pretty entertaining, but he's just just a blue hair Juan to me. What is JNPR doing this season anyway

Agreed. Season 1 had a lot of inconsistency from one episode to the next, but thus far this season has been a smooth ride of fun.

I'm kind of disappointed that we got to see them working together that well already. Would have been nice to see them struggle with it a bit more, and actually bind into a team.

I think having RWBY and JNPR is fine, but if we have RWBY/JNPR/SN** it might start getting to be too many teams....

Also, Apparantly RWBY has gotten so popular that some Japanese Funimation esque business is going to translate it.

I still think JNPR is the more interesting team.

RWBY seems to be very powerful from the beginning, while JNPR still makes errors.

I just want more of Nora. Nora's awesome.

Though it looks like there will be 4 teams this season. RWBY. JNPR. Sun's team, and a team made up of season 1 background characters including that bunny eared Fanus what's his face picked on mid-way through last season.

They appear in the opening and have been talked about pre-season by Monty. Their name is apparently CFVY (coffee);

He's been talking about them on twitter. I'm assuming they make up one of the teams that'll be in the tournament this season or next.

Looks like it will have a sniper chick (I'm assuming that's a rifle), dude with arm blades, dude with polearm and a bunny girl.

Coco definitely has one of the series most awesome character designs XD (and a lot of bullets).

The chick has a purse with bullets for the strap. I like her already.

Monty has described her as a magic user, so she might be like Glenda and have no weapon.

Rocket dust-coated carrots, naturally.
