I know we had a few Fans here last time so I thought I'd just drop this here.

New Opening. Pretty damn good. I'm pretty excited. Cant wait for RTX to be done so we start getting Episodes.

I was pleased enough with Season 1. It spent a little too much time on the non-Team RWBY characters for my tests (I mean, I liked the character trailers and was expected more from those characters in a show that has their initials in the title). I like Jaune mind you. He's one of the most adorkable characters I've ever seen. Season one just dragged a lot for me. I hope season 2 brings more meat to the show. The last few episodes of Season 1 were great (gun-chucks ftw

I admit, I still haven't finished Season 1 but I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far. I can say I truly enjoy all the characters from both teams and I'll happily watch that S2 in the near future.

But one character I love is the insane girl: Power Hammer that turns into a grenade launcher, GENIUS.

I think we can all agree we didn't get enough Nora in season 1. You can never have enough Nora

There's enough in the show too just love their insane weapons. The characters being good just makes it better

Oh man, Nora is the best. I don't think any of us we're sure when she first showed up as "Over hyper active girl" But god damn do I love her now

I love the mix of swordfighting and gunplay in the series.
Feels suitably awesome and different especially since everyone has something that's a bit different.

Thats what I've quite liked as well Everyone has a "Gun ___" but they are all different enough to be interesting and awesome in there own right

Now the series has to, y'know, go somewhere! What we got was basically half a season. We need the conclusion, and some movement on the actual mythology (y'know, the bad guys!).

So. Having finally cleared my to watch list so I could actually see this, SO HYPED FOR THE NEW SEASON AND STUFF.

I personally think that Sun needs a bigger role as he is easily my favourite thing about that show, aside from Nora and Penny.

I figured it was a waste to make an entire new thread.

The RTX trailer came out today! Some good stuff. Also a lot of stuff. Looks like next volume is going to get a little bit crazy!

Also is it just me or does it look like we're getting a Re-Vamped version of Yang's Trailer in an episode? Seemed that way from some of the snippets

Indeed! It was amazing! I was worried in the first couple seconds because for some reason the animations seemed more choppy than usual. But everything smoothed and was great!

I thought it was kind of cool how they brought in Sun's friend and, despite Sun being made out to be kind of a badass, is blabbing about Blake.

Well, not so much cool as pretty good characterization.

Yeah, I find it weird how much they wanted to show Ren as a badass right off the bat, but he's be relegated to such a.... weak character since.

Jaun has a reason for being smoked so easily all the time, but Ren? Just seems odd.

Feels like we're building up to a real "Fun" time at the festival! Cant wait, I like how the build up is a bit more fast paced so far this Volume.

Love the new OP though, RWBY has never been short on awesome music.

I like how it's in the 12-15 minute range; It lets me go on break and watch an episode at work and get the whole thing.

At the very least Monty said somewhere (cant quite remember) that all the episodes this Volume will be over the 10 min mark so thats at least an improvement over the random 5 min episodes we got last Volume!

And yes, Jeff and Casey make some awesome music.
