It's must be just you.
Napoleon lost, not good example for Glorious Leader, who is win incarnate.
No, Glorious Leader catch imperialist Yankee dog warhead and hold it tight against his chest until it safely detonate. All Korea are safe.
Very tiring though, needs stick.

Y'know this makes me wonder... do the North Koreans actually believe the over-the-top hype propaganda that gets made about the Great/Glorious/Fat leader? Part of me says there is no way anyone could believe that blatantly cartoonish stuff, but the other part thinks if you are raised on a neverending diet of it, how would you know it was "obviously" insane?

Depending on the hype. I am just joking. From memory North Korea doesn't try any superhero hype, but allowing for what they do try I don't consider your question stupid. But it does try other extreme hype, quite regularly.

This site is often fun, see for yourself what Glorious leader does. Todays news if fairly staid, but I remember Kim Jong Il invented cola revealed there, I kid you not.

Staid it maybe, but it must have tired out the Great Leader reading these glowing tributes from global news luminaries...

Birthday of WPK Marked by Foreign Media

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Foreign media on October 2 marked the 69th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer said in an article titled "Serve the people!":
The WPK regards it as an iron rule to always place the wishes and interests of the people above anything else and settle all issues to serve them. It looks after their life in a responsible manner.

It is now called a mother party by the people as President Kim Il Sung and Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il dedicated themselves to the people all their lives, regarding it as their maxim to believe in them as in Heaven.

The Cambodian paper Pracheachon in an article titled "Great leader of mother party" said that the WPK would win victory after victory, enjoying absolute support and trust of the people as a mother party as it is led by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The Guinean State TV Broadcasting Service reported as follows before showing Korean film "Pyongyang Today":
Kim Il Sung founded the WPK, the organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people, on October 10, 1945.

Thanks to the WPK, the people's country, the socialist system centred on the popular masses, was built in Korea for the first time in the national history spanning five thousand years and the DPRK turned into an independent power in a brief span of time.
The army and people of the DPRK are performing miracles and innovations in defending socialism and building a thriving nation, holding Kim Jong Un in high esteem as their leader.

That is the standard communist rhetoric, its mundane and serious enough it might have come from East Germany back in the day.

North Korea however can get interesting. Dakka has been exposed before to the wonders of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Well, one major difference apparently, is that in the US our education system doesn't actively teach "chemtrail theory" whereas N. Korean schools DO teach that Glorious Leader Kim Jong Il was born on a mountain top, and all of earth rejoiced.... or however that story went.

Perhaps soon there will be demands for equal classroom time for chemtrail theory.

I hope not... I mean, as it is, the "teach the controversy" comes from something that, once upon a time was considered "mainstream science" so there was a brief period of legitimate controversy over it.

Pretty sure this is irrelevant.

I mean, we have people who want purely ideological material taught as science in public schools. For every minute spent on intelligent design, we should spend one minute on the Glorious Leader's superheroic virtues.

Remember, only the Glorious Leader can stop the Bilderberger Lizardmen and their chemtrails before they blow up another important building in NYC or fake a moon landing.

As a "historian in training" it is relevant, as all things from the past are relevant. But personally, things like Creationism, Flat-Earthism and even Young-Earth "ism" belong solely in the history classroom.

As a heathen, I do not even "pretend" that the creation myth of Frost Giants and Fire Demons colliding and creating all of the 9 realms, it is exactly within the name... a Myth, and should be treated as such, and only really talked about in a history class, or a comparative world religions course.

As someone already trained as a historian, it really isn't, unless as you say the class is about something like the history of politico-ideological conflict in the US. But the fact that a significant amount of Americans want political ideology taught as science in classrooms should give us pause as we consider whether North Koreans can really buy into all the propaganda surrounding the Kim family.

I had Korean room mates that were huge on making Kimchee. It was powerful the first couple of times, but then you get used to it. Radish Kimchee is my favorite.

I think in DPRK, anyone who publicly disbelieved the Kim myths would qualify as an idiot.

To be fair, in a country with chronic food shortages, lots of people may not in fact be able to poop.

It shows his humility and natural quality. Not even Glorious Leader has food to poop out.

Careful,

Kim Jong Un = Glorious Leader

Kim Jong Il = Dear Leader

Pooping was simultaneously too base and too ostentatious for the Dear Leader.

I am not sure whether the Glorious Leader poops. Perhaps he does, out of respect for the Dear Leader.
