Ok an update. Theh screwed my prescription up so I only got ibuprofen. But that is fine. Because I can walk short distances w/of crutchesome and can go twice as far with them. The pain isn't acute, just a low dull constant now.

I messed my knee up playing soccer. My foot planted and didn't pivot as I was trying to turn around. Sounded like bubble wrap being popped in my knee. Never went to the doctor, but couldn't really bend my leg for a week or two. After that I got around fine. No Idea how long I waited to do strenuous stuff.
Something was floating around in there and I had to put it back in the right place from time to time. Eventually the floaty things must have found a good place to stick because it stopped being an issue. It has been about 8 years now. I get occasional mild pain, usually when I resume an exercise regime after slacking for a significant period of time.

SO....I just want to throw it out there that "not doing anything about it" really isn't your best option if you have the means to get it fixed.
You can certainly live with it, and your body will heal itself, but it probably isn't going to heal itself to full efficacy, and you'll certainly feel the effects of that injury the older you get.
Seriously, if you have the means to get your gak fixed correctly, do it. Your body will thank you.

Thats the thing, they are not sure it is a torn ligament. They said from what I was describiing its mostly fluid from bruising. But im going t follow up in a week.

Please do. I hope it's not torn, because unfortunately when you tear the meniscus, the rate of reinjury is really really high. I don't wish hoe my knees feel when it's really cold on anyone
